Episode #13 - Rethinking Outreach - A Field Guide Interview with Author and Reverend John Hughes.

Play Episode Listen Later Mar 10, 2024 31:19

In this episode, Dr. Luff sits down with Author and Reverend John Hughes to discuss his new upcoming book entitled: Rethinking Outreach - A Field Guide. I have had the pleasure of knowing Reverend Hughes for over a decade and since the day I met him, I knew three things - he loves God, he is committed to servant leadership, and he is grounded in nonprofit community-based ministry. In his book, he teaches you that ministry is a vocation and not just a feel good performance on Sundays. This book is not just about preparing pastors for the pulpit but preparing them for the public square. If you are not interested in playing church but being the church to the community you live in, read Rethinking Outreach - A Field Guide and see God move, not just inside the walls of your church, but where it matters most - in the community. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/timetorise/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/timetorise/support
