Today we have a really exciting guest. He has been on Wattpad since 2011 and has done it all, he’s a writer, he’s been a Wattpad ambassador who helped build the Wattpad science fiction profile to 491,000 followers. He’s written many short stories, some on Wattpad and some available on Amazon. In 2012 he took two years to write the first version of his full length novel The Solution. In 2017 he took a few years off from Wattpad to focus on his craft, and got bit by the copy editing bug. And now has made a return - publishing the revised version of The Solution which he has been updating chapter by chapter onto Wattpad. The Solution is the story of two Chinese brothers in an unstable earth that is on the brink of environmental collapse. One brother is an international journalist and the other is a successful scientist with a dark past, grappling to find, with a dark past, who grappling to find The Solution. Our guest today joined Wattpad in July 2010. His book on Wattpad: Merlin’s Gold reached 1.5M reads. He volunteered on the Wattpad Ambassador team, and then joined Wattpad as a member of staff in Nov 2012. He worked as a content specialist and eventually became the Ambassador Program Manager. This novel reached 19 million reads, won the Watty Award for "Most Popular Teen Fiction” in 2012 and was then Published by Penguin Random House in 2013. Her book, The Kissing Booth was then taken on by Netflix in 2016 and released in 2018, becoming an absolute storming success worldwide. When it was released IMDB ranked the kissing booth as the fourth most watched film coming after Deadpool, Star Wars and the Avengers.
