Welcome back to the show! This week Claudine Zap and Natalie Way recap episode three of "Selling the OC". While the drama between the agents at the Oppenheim Group Newport Beach is heating up, one agent sells a $3.2 million house and makes her biggest commission to date. Several properties are featured on this episode including a $4.5 million hillside home in Laguna Beach and a massive Laguna Beach mansion. Then, Natalie and Rachel Stults chat with Andrew Tyree, host of the show "Beyond the Block" on Tastemade, and Joey Lucas, "Beyond the Block" showrunner. The show is currently in its third season, and Andrew and Joey stop by "House Party" to give us the scoop on what it's like producing a TV show that's "part travel, part real estate." Each episode, Andrew guides homebuyers through potential neighborhoods in cities all around the country so they can find not only their dream house but also their dream locale. Be sure to subscribe to “House Party” on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts so you have access to new episodes right when they publish. I used to be a staunch anti-group-travel kind of gal. I went literally decades without even a thought of joining a group tour! But in Episode 181 of The Thoughtful Travel Podcast I admit the error of my ways and chat with three guests who've all had truly unique and wonderful small group travel experiences. First up, I speak to Suzanne Moore, a local Perth writer who spent a week last year walking the Cape to Cape track in the south-west of my home state of Western Australia. Suzy had some of the same reservations about travelling with a group that I've had in the past, but they definitely proved to be unfounded. My next guest is Louise Southerden and we chat about the benefits of specifically-themed small group tours. This is definitely a case where travelling with a group can actually exceed the experience of independent travel (something I never would have dreamt of conceding a few years back!). Finally, Andrew Tyree and I chat about what can go wrong with group travel - and he should know, as he leads small group trips across Central and South America. Luckily we also talk about lots of things that go right! With his unique blend of passion, intuition and insider knowledge, Andrew happily alleviates the stress-factors that often accompany foreign travel: speaking the language, knowing the restaurant owners, arranging the transportation, and making all of the reservations. Each traveler can choose his or her level of involvement in the design of trip itineraries. Vacations can be designed specifically for you and your interests. Not bad. Right?!"

American travel to Cuba has undergone a renaissance in the past decade. Thanks to recent rules that made traveling to Cuba easier than it's been since the 1960, Cubans and Americans were benefitting from an increase in American tourists to Cuba. But that changed drastically this June when President Trump enacted a ban on cruise ship travel to the Caribbean nation, and nixed one of the most popular ways for Americans to enter Cuba.Coast to Costa travel guide Andrew Tyree has traveled to Cuba two dozen times since 2015. This week, he breaks down the immediate impact of these new travel restrictions for Cubans and Americans, and tells us what it's like to get lost in Cuba.IG: @coasttocosta, @joesillswww.coasttocosta.comwww.souledoutblog.comRead Souled Outside on Apple News.Music by Bryan Hayes.

Andrew Tyree is the founder of Coast to Costa. A travel company that organizes personalized, guided tours of Mexico, Spain and Cuba. Each trip delivers unique, highly localized travel experiences with an emphasis on the food, wine, and culture of the region. Andrew is a guy that’s always looking for adventure. He found his passion through travel. And like many discover, he loved other countries and cultures. But how can you possibly make a career out of something like that? Sometimes you have to think a little outside of the box with the things you love. Andrew also loved sharing new places and cultures with others. Helping and setting them up with places he knew about was a passion that was possibly even deeper than exploring them himself. It turned out he was pretty good at this, and that he could make it a career. Isn't it funny that when we think about how we can help others it often gives us the answer!   Find Andrew Online: Website - http://www.coasttocosta.com/ Facebook - @coasttocosta Instagram - @coasttocosta   Some Questions I Ask: What made you think you could actually start a company around travel?
