In this episode, Ashlyne talks about "the other organs". But it might not be what you expect. Instead of just typical organ function, you'll have a chance to think about all the stuff that ails you (from a physical skin condition to mental health) and how you a. judge yourself for it, b. deal with it on a day to day basis, and c. how we can challenge ourselves to talk about it and normalize it so we stop feeling so alone! Are you or do you think you should seek professional advice for it? Does anyone else know about it? What is their reaction, if any. What are your feelings around all this? This week's episode is full of inspiration! Ashlyne Huff Blue discusses her journey to self discovery and happiness. Ashlyne is an author, a yoga teacher, songwriter and a realtor. She is the daughter of music producer, Dan Huff. She bravely shares her story of enduring trauma as a teenager and how that particular incident shaped her path for a long time. Stef and Ashlyne chat about first meeting as songwriters and later reconnecting through yoga. They realize that their paths have been similar in many ways. Ashlyne recalls her early days as a pop recording artist, being a "good girl" who always did the right thing to experiencing trauma and multiple bad relationships. They discuss finding boundaries when you don't have them and how to give yourself more grace. You don't have to live in pain and happiness is always possible even when it seems unattainable.
