The trial of Dennis Oland in his father Richard Oland's murder case will be featured in a new documentary airing on CBC. Director Deb Wainwright and Seven Knots Productions produced the documentary and talked to Denis Oland and members of his family.

For 150 years, the Olands have been one of Canada’s most prominent brewing dynasties, the makers of Moosehead Beer. But in the last decade, they’ve made the news for much darker reasons. Richard Oland was murdered in 2011. Almost eight years to the day, Richard Oland was murdered in his uptown Saint John, New Brunswick office. A new verdict sees Dennis Oland, his son, walking free after being convicted of killing his millionaire father three years ago. After all this time, it’s still a mystery what happened in the office that day.  Host Tamara Khandaker speaks with Global’s Andrew Cromwell from New Brunswick, who’s been following this trial from the start. The two discuss where the case began and the twisting narratives leading up to what we know today.
