Carolyn picked the movie, and the crappy mic it seems. We know about the echo and are upgrading some equipment! A real rollercoaster of an episode as Carolyn put Rich through some possibly needed therapy. Did Rich cry? Does Carolyn even like this movie?
In our longest episode to date Rich and Carolyn take a trip to Cabrini Green to investigate the legend of the Candyman! Well, really they stay home and watch the movie because Rich would be far too terrified to even entertain the idea of looking for Candyman. Was it as horrifying as Rich remembered as a kid? Did Rich's father use this movie to traumatize him? Did Carolyn finally like a freaking horror movie? All those questions are answered, and more in Episode 3 of Why, Bloody Valentine?
Welcome to season 3 of Stick This In Your Ear! It's our annual Oscars episode! Dave is back as well as Matt to discuss the best original song nominees for the 2019 Oscars. Will RJ subject the panel to his torturous Oscar nominee game again? Did Rich listen to any of the songs? The only way to find out is to sit down plug-in and Stick This In Your Ear!
In episode 63 of the CTGY podcast, Rich and Kelly discuss the films from 2017. What films were good, what films were bad? Did Rich even bother to watch any? What will the top 10 be? Thanks again for all the support over the last year - we really appreciate it! Looking forward to some big projects starting in 2018..
Join RF Generation Playcast hosts, Rich (singlebanana) and Shawn (GrayGhost81), as the "Dynamic Duo" (R.I.P. Adam West) discuss one of Ninja Theory's early, third-person, action/adventure titles, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. This month's Playcast flashes forward (...errr we kinda hope not) into dystopian America where humans are being "enslaved" by a mysterious source and our world has been taken over by blood-thirsty robots. Yeeeeeesh! In this episode, we talk about the gameplay mechanics, some "despicable" and yummy characters, the game's soundtrack, and pose our thoughts on Enslaved's ending. Did this game's sometimes glitchy tendencies muck up what could have been a great title? Did Rich's modern game skill shortcomings prevent him from finishing the game? And how does Shawn reeeeeeeeeally feel about "Hidden Gems?" The answers to these questions and many more in this month's episode of the RF Generation Playcast! As always, we are happy to hear your thoughts on this game on our discussion page (linked below). We will respond to your comments and are always happy to discuss the game more. We hope you enjoy our show. Please be sure to rate and write a review of the show on iTunes to help us increase our listenership. Thanks for the listen! Join RF Generation Playcast hosts, Rich (singlebanana), Shawn (GrayGhost81), and returning guest, Pam (host of Cannot Be Tamed and Media Mavens) as they discuss a lesser known title from a well-known developer. This month's Playcast plunges into Febrauray's site playthrough of Murdered: Soul Suspect, which was developed by Square Enix. Opinions of this game typically range from both ends of the spectrum, so how will our cast of gamers fall on it? Is it worth the few bucks a used copy commands, or are you better off leaving it on the shelf? Did Rich enjoy the overall narrative? Did Pam take issue with the combat? And did Shawn enjoy making little cat sounds? Be sure to tune in to this episode of the RF Generation Playcast to find out! Coming to you not-live and via Direct Distance Dialing involving zero computers and instead actual phones...it's Coffee & Cider's San Diego Comic-Con Not-So-Special! It’s Game 9 and surely Rich’s terrible run of luck is about to change! He’s been close to giving up but thanks to overwhelming public support, Backgammon on the Toilet is continuing! In an exciting episode that Rich actually almost forgot to upload, he starts off with a very strong opening on a double six, but can he start to pull it back on this one or will it all go wrong for him again? Did Rich manage to get Backgammon on the Toilet into a McDonald's advert? Did Gary Stringer from Reef write in? Find out right here!
RHLSTP #13: David Mitchell - The Shreks of Westminster Bridge. Slightly worse for wear after having lunch with Alice Cooper at the Q Awards, Richard is delighted to welcome a man he thinks might be him from another time stream, David 'Mitch' Mitchell. He's certainly met his match in pedantry and both men accidentally reveal some shocking details about their respective psyches. Never have two men discussed at such length the vagaries of choosing between a ham hand and a sun lotion arm pit. And that is GUARANTEED. The Peep Show stationery cupboard, romantic subterfuge and the Daily Mail readers' internet comments are all up for discussion and we'll find out how an early discussion about Eric Morecambe almost brought the pair to blows. Did Rich really meet some Shreks and a Justin Lee Collins in the street? And what was Tim from The Office like before he became Tim from The Office? Is Richard as bitter and mean as he seems and will he ever get a Googlewhack audience? What's it like to play Aerosmith at table tennis? Will Rich ever forgive his mum for her Brideshead Revisited Alfresco trump? Why don't the audience understand any of Richard's obscure 1980s references? What would you do if God granted you the power of having exactly the same hands as Hermione from Harry Potter? And just how many David Mitchells are there anyway? It's a marathon of a podcast, but there's no cheating and we both stay in it for the whole thing. It'd be nice if there was a happy ending. But there's a slightly unhappy ending. See if you can make it to the ending.SUPPORT THE SHOW!Check out our website and become a badger and see extra content http://rhlstp.co.ukSee details of the RHLSTP tour dates http://richardherring.com/gigsBuy DVDs and Books at http://gofasterstripe.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
