Dr. Cliff Kapono is a professional surfer, journalist, ocean steward, cultural advocate, and marine conservation scientist with a PhD in Chemistry. Yet 90% of the planet's coral reefs could be gone by 2050 – a loss that Sam Teicher describes as an “ecological tragedy and a socioeconomic catastrophe.” That's why he co-founded the reef restoration company Coral Vita. Jameson Reeder Jr. is a shark attack survivor, amputee, surfer, and one of the most courageous young men I've ever spoken with.
