The Warminster Thing 60th Anniversary conference with guests Stuart Dyke & Sharon Mason ; The Paranormal Peep Show. Neil, Ben and Andy interview Stuart Dyke and Sharon Mason who organised the 60th anniversary Warminster Thing conference in Warminster, Wiltshire on 24th August 2025.Warminster was a town that became famous in the mid 1960s due to strange events that began to plague the town, involving UFOs, loud thunderous crashes on rooftops, lights in the sky and humanoid encounters. These occurrences were set down in newspaper reports by columnist Arthur Shuttlewood, who later compiled them into a book. It's thanks to him we have a comprehensive account of most of the bizarre happenings around that time. Stuart has been a researcher with the Crop Circle phenomenon for many years, and helped co-found The Crop Circle Connector website.  He has lectured at many events over the years, hosted his own conferences, and presented and produced many videos on the phenomenon.Sharon Mason, a former TV production and media operative, now runs her own Quantum Healing services, involving deep hypnotic trance work, calling upon the client's higher self to come forward and speak directly to her in a session. Sharon used this process to make contact with Stuart's higher self to try and explain who and what was behind the phenomena of The Warminster Thing, which started in the Christmas period of 1965. A clip of one of these contact sessions was played at the conference and we present here a short snippet of that clip. David Griffin returns for a follow up episode to the first Paranormal Peep Show episode where he explained how Marconi may have received recovered alien technology from the Falklands War of 1982. This was allegedly a sentient Black liquid commonly referred to as the Black Goo. We kick off Season Nine of the podcast by meeting a woman who could be called the godmother of true crime.    Producer/host Susan Stone tells the story of F. Tennyson Jesse, an English journalist, criminologist, and writer. The daughter of a vicar who dragged the family around the British empire, she trained as a painter before moving to London in 1911. Journalism beckoned, but she was not put off by losing the use of her right hand in a plane accident, learning to type left-handed. Known as Fryn to her friends, she reported from the ground during World War I and published fiction, before moving into criminology and true crime writing. A tribute Paranormal Peep Show . Marcus Allen, the UK publisher of the alternative ideas magazine Nexus, passed away in January 2026. Back in 2018, The Paranormal Peep Show  invited him to speak about his Apollo Moon hoax theories, covering the rocketry, the Van Allen radiation belts, the luna photography issues and much more. In tribute to Marcus, we repeat this episode here for all those that missed it and perhaps wanted to know a little more about the moon hoax ideas.This later led to a second episode of a debate with a NASA proponent, Peter Bassett and we then branched out and produced around 10 plus episodes of The Apollo Detectives where Marcus was joined with other invited guests to take part in hoax theories and problems that faced the NASA missions of the late 1960s, early 70s.  We send our condolences out to Marcus's family, friends and colleagues. Psychic news article writer and paranormal author and ghost researcher John West guests on the Paranormal Peep Show speaking to Neil Ward. John explains about his research into various ghostly anomalies, mostly of the Roman ghost variety. He explains about the famous Roman Ghosts of York sighted by apprentice plumber Harry Martindale in 1953 at the Chancellors House which was built over a Roman road. It appears that Harry saw the Romans of the past marching down over this Roman Road, but he saw them coming through the wall of a  cellar he was working on. In 1957, possibly the same Romans were seen again in the cellar but this time by a house keeper of the Chancellors house who was checking up on the building before retiring to bed. This time the Romans were sleeping, slumped accross their horses that marched them back to camp. Was it a stone tape recording, or a some kind of time slip? John shares various accounts of possible time slips with Roman horses sighted on carriages but being frightened of people in the present time who are witnessing them. We also hear of the Roman centurian seen ten feet in the air off Hadrien's Wall, presumably at the level the wall originally stood at before it began to crumble. We also discuss ghosts from Jack the Ripper time and ask if Ghosts could have been created in more modern times, such as with the killings done by Fred and Rose West of Cromwell Avenue in Gloucester in the 70s, 80s and 90s of many young women.
