Parents of 60 million kids in America have failed to open Trump accounts for them so Scott Bessent just did it for them.  They are active.  All the parents have to do is log on and accept the account and their kids get money invested for the future.  This is SO good if we can teach people to save instead of borrow.    It's been a bad week for the Senate as the dems vote to keep insider trading alive for all of them and vote against a Ratepayer Protection Act to keep data centers in check.  Why are the dems in DC?  Just keep them at home because they will always vote NO on anything Trump and Republicans offer up.  Incredible.    An adopted 58 year old man in Missouri has an incredible story as he's learned the identity of his very famous birth dad.  Oh, what a fool believes.  You have to hear who it is.    A pair of Chiefs sweep the AFC Offensive Player and Rookie of the Month awards as KC gets ready to play the Raiders.  With a win, Andy Reid will take over first place for most wins of ANY coach in  Allegiant Stadium history.    College hoops coach John Calipari is upset that his players make more than his coaches, college football ratings are in a double digit dive and our Final Final is a freakout at a popular KC BBQ spot that some diners thought was in trouble when somebody walked in.

The 1981 Dodgers season was split into two halves by the players' strike that wiped out roughly two months of the schedule in June and July. Los Angeles won the National League West outright in the first half under manager Tom Lasorda, then qualified again as a division half-season winner, which meant an extra postseason round — the first National League Division Series — was added against the Houston Astros, who'd won the second half. The Dodgers took that series in five games. The season is also remembered as the year of Fernando Valenzuela, a 20-year-old left-hander who opened the year with eight straight wins, five of them shutouts, and went on to win both the Cy Young Award and Rookie of the Year, a combination no pitcher had achieved before.From there, Los Angeles beat the Montreal Expos in the NLCS on Rick Monday's ninth-inning home run in the deciding Game 5 — a moment still referred to in Montreal as Blue Monday — and went on to face the Yankees in the World Series. The Dodgers dropped the first two games in New York before winning four straight, giving the franchise its first title since 1965 and its first over the Yankees since 1963, following World Series losses to New York in 1977 and 1978.
