In the age of social media, photo retouching has taken on a whole new life. We live in a world where a free app on your phone can let you take a video that looks like you've gotten a nose job, a BBL, and a professionally done soft-glam makeup look. And while it can be easy to see filters as fun and harmless or an easy way to look more "presentable" online, they don't come without their consequences.
