141 - Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal In episode 141 of “Have Guitar Will Travel”, presented by Vintage Guitar Magazine host, James Patrick Regan speaks with producer/guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal. In their conversation Ron tells us about his new album “Bumblefoot… Returns” and why it took so long for it to be released. The album will be released for streaming, vinyl, cassette and as a video game! Ron talks about Mike Varney who wrote about Ron in his column in Guitar Player magazine in ‘89 and gave Ron his first record deal in ‘95. Ron also discusses his involvement with Sega video games. Ron tells us about growing up in New Jersey and his early musical experiences and his early bands and his early production experiences.
