Welcome back to the ParTee and welcome to part one of this episode! We are filming in the very studio that brings you the Nick and Matt show and Pro Tour Talk with Matt and Josh! How VIP are we this week ???In TOURNEY TALK we break down the Idlewild Open and Paige Pierce finding herself back on top of the field after a lack-luster midwest swing, Christine leads the conversation about the Stafford open, and we sum up the Delaware disc golf challenge where names that made headlines in the first half of the season are nowhere to be found in this second half. Later in CALL ME WITH CHRISTINE we answer questions about balancing a full time job with being a touring player, the best places on tour as far as amenities go, and how we stay motivated throughout the year with everything we have going on! As always we end the show with WHAT'S TRENDING and we have to talk about the Match Play Brackets, Catrina Allen's hot rounds, and the upcoming Throw Pink Championship! In the past years, The Idlewild Open has seen 5 different players hoist the trophy. Going into this week the guys had their favorites but were pleasantly surprised to see another first time champion. Mitch, Hayden, & Justin discuss how the tour could change to have more variation in course type week after week, McBeth's disastrous final round, and how the upcoming young guns of the sport are pushing the limits. Ah, midranges... the good ol' trusty discs that never change and sometimes never get thrown. Are approach discs midranges? What shape of flight, plastic, and feel do we search for in this class of disc? Mitch throws them too much, Hayden is too smooth with them but forgets they exist, and Justin relives his exploding shark incident.
