Science! Religion! Murder! Dune buggies! This episode truly has it all. Comedian/producer/amateur inventor Nicole Villela is on this podcast this week to discuss renaissance man Stanley Meyer and his mysterious death. Did Stanley create a sustainable, emission free fuel cell that can power a car with water? Or was he a con man doofus who hoodwinked some nice Ohioans? And what about his crazy last words?? All these mysteries and more will be covered this week, plus a little discussion of what it would take for your hosts to sleep with a pigeon.
Buckle up, because this week, we've got a fun episode with my friend, Nicole Villela (@itchybrained). Warning, this is a very Bryce Hall episode. Did the Sway House lose power for partying during a pandemic? Are Bryce and Thomas Petrou going to fight each other? Should Jason Derulo do a collab with the Pillsbury Dough Boy? We answer all these questions and more! Plus, do you think Dixie D'Amelio and Noah Beck should date? Let me know @ladytomhanks. — SHOW INFORMATIONInstagram: Instagram Twitter: Twitter Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Follow: Spotify
Comedian Nicole Villela hates pumpkin pie. Winston doesn't understand this and David sings early 2000's emo/pop punk band Simple Plan. For a round of Hot Tastes, Winston thinks Heinz 57 is the King of Sauces and David wants to know how to reassemble takeout soups. For the tasting, Marie Callender's standard pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie cookies, Pumpkinoffee (dulce de leche) pie and a savory pork and pumpkin pot pie are served up. __ SHOW INFORMATION Facebook Page: @tryitlikeitpod Instagram: @tryitlikeitpod Twitter: @tryitlikeitpod Email: tryitlikeitpod@gmail.com Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Subscribe: Spotify
Consider me starstruck, because this week, I'm joined by one of the stars of the movie we're talking about, Nicole Villela (@itchybrained). That's right, Nicole played one of the college students in Larry Crowne (2011), and she dishes on some real Tom Hanks stories. In this film, Tom attempts to do it all again as writer, director, and star. Of course, it's not as great as That Thing You Do!, but we have a good time watching Tom be Tom. Let me know what you think @youvegothanks. — SHOW INFORMATIONInstagram: Instagram Twitter: Twitter Subscribe: Apple Podcasts Subscribe: Spotify
This week, guest Nicole Villela is here to live through single episode that takes Max and Liz from first kiss through tearful break up. It's a lot of teen drama and the only cure is a boatload of adult drama on Roswell, NM. Isobel's memories of pursuing and murdering Rosa really put a damper on her picnic plans with Noah, but it's great for us, because now the alien serial killer is really starting to take shape. Nicole is adamant that the shape is Noah. Also, Maria is unfazed by all the murders of her patrons, but manages to be almost psychically insightful and set proper boundaries with Michael, so she's still my fave.
Nicole Villela chooses her own religion! Nicole is an improviser on Nerdist teams like The Dam/n Breaks and Hello Horses, the host of the Cringeworthy podcast, and a co-producer of my show, Copper Still Comedy! In this episode, Nicole not only tells me about the meaning of Tarot cards, and she not only reads my Tarot, but she reads YOUR Tarot too!
