Willard and Dibs debate if Kyle Shanahan or Christian McCaffrey's comments today sway them more.
I just realized a subtle characteristic for sprint time box length. If teams are working to 3 week or longer time boxes that is a good indication of teams working as individuals vs. as a group on a problem that needs to be solved. There are cases in where maybe there could be lots of testing that would require the longer period yes. However.. I realized this just the other day as I was pondering why I was having troubles completing everything in my two week SWAY sprint lengths. When i coach people in my mastermind and coaching program we usually work in 3 week sprints vs. two weeks. I also reflected on teams I coached that were three or 4 week sprints and I realized they were that long because the people worked as individuals. Where in a team efforts which is what scrum is really supposed to be about two weeks or less works well because there is more than one person working the issue. Lets share and please let me know in the comments if you see the same trend. On our Wednesday show about Teams, We and HR on the #5ammesterScrum show 1276.

Today, Mastodon users unhappy with the service can opt to move their account to a different Mastodon server, while Bluesky is developing technology that allows users to migrate their account to a new PDS (Bluesky's term for “personal data server”) on its network. However, Mastodon runs on the ActivityPub Protocol and Bluesky on the AT Protocol, which has limited the ability to migrate accounts across the two platforms until now. Also, Elon Musk's X and xAI filed a lawsuit against Apple and OpenAI on Monday, alleging that the two companies are colluding to stifle competition. And Andreessen Horowitz and OpenAI President Greg Brockman are among the Silicon Valley veterans putting more than $100 million into a network of political action committees (PACs) that will advocate against strict AI regulations in next year's midterm elections, reports The Wall Street Journal.

A powerful community tribute to Malcolm‑Jamal Warner—anchored by Candace Kelley, Troy W. Harris Jr., and Layne Fontes—centers on the legacy Malcolm insisted we carry: that in 2025, new media lets us shape our own narrative. The conversation spans authenticity, code‑switching, cultural impact, and collective healing, with moving appearances from actor Lamman Rucker and Isaac Hayes III (Fanbase). Rucker recalls 40 years of brotherhood, stage work, and the discipline behind Malcolm's artistry—from the National Black Theatre Festival to late‑night poetry sets. Isaac shares how Malcolm's example—fitness, stretching, and integrity—quietly mentored him and why platforms like Not All Hood are vital for Black storytelling and ownership. The team revisits viral Buteco jam sessions where Malcolm lived on the bass, plus memories from press runs (Sway, Breakfast Club), and live callers reflect on why the Cosby era felt like home. This episode is part celebration, part blueprint: take the mic, build platforms, and program the algorithm with love, excellence, and truth. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not All Hood (NAH) podcast takes a look at the lived experiences and identities of Black people in America. Recent allegations exposed by the Wall Street Journal and New York Post, suggest that senior Pfizer executives may have intentionally delayed the release of their COVID-19 vaccine trial results to influence the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Former Pfizer scientist Dr. Philip Dormitzer reportedly told colleagues at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) that the timing of the vaccine's announcement was "not a coincidence," implying a deliberate effort to withhold positive trial data until after Election Day. These claims have prompted a Republican-led House Judiciary Committee investigation, seeking documents from Pfizer and testimony from Dr. Dormitzer. The episode explores the potential motivations behind such a delay, including concerns about political repercussions from a second Trump administration. Plus, Joe Biden has advanced, terminal prostate cancer. Dr. Harvey Risch is our guest to explain why there is no way this can be a new diagnosis. Can artificial intelligence transform how we navigate the most challenging dialogues on campus? Join us for a thought-provoking episode featuring philosopher and educator Simon Cullen, as he unveils his pioneering work at the intersection of education, technology, and constructive disagreement. In conversation with John Tomasi, Simon explores how open inquiry is both advanced and imperiled by disagreement, and describes his academic journey from Australia to Princeton and Carnegie Mellon. Central to the discussion is ‘Sway' an AI-powered platform developed by Simon and his team to foster rigorous, evidence-based dialogue among students on controversial topics. Sway intelligently pairs students with opposing views and acts as a “guide on the side,” scaffolding reasoning, encouraging intellectual humility, and ensuring that exchanges remain constructive and charitable. Simon shares the empirical findings from thousands of Sway-mediated dialogues, where measurable increases in students' openness, comfort, and analytical reasoning have been observed—even on divisive subjects like gender, immigration, and the Israel-Palestine conflict.
