Former Roswell Mayor Lori Henry and former City Councilman Matt Tyser join the Georgia Politics Podcast to make the case that Roswell's proposed millage rate increase is not necessary. The city originally proposed raising the millage rate from 4.949 mills to 7.732 mills, citing millions of dollars in infrastructure, public safety, facility and equipment needs. The council has since scaled back the proposal to 5.9 mills, but the debate over whether Roswell needs a tax increase — and how much — continues.
