Glasgow's Best Independent Food Shop Is your local independent food shop the best in Glasgow? The BBC Good Food Show Scotland is on the hunt for Glasgow's Best Independent Food Shop for the third year and this time we’ve added a twist! The Shows are once again teaming up with the BBC Good Food Senior Food Editor, Barney Desmazery, to scour the region for a hidden gem near you! This year for the first time shops can be voted for on Twitter and Instagram, and the shop with the most votes will be automatically shortlisted and visited by the judges – so make sure you get voting! The winner will receive a free stand at the BBC Good Food Show Scotland at the SECC from 6 – 8 November 2015 to showcase their shop to thousands of food loving visitors. Judges will be looking at the following: - Range of international and local produce - Quality and value of produce - Product knowledge and enthusiasm - Customer service - Services, facilities and community involvement Vote for your favourite Food Shop on Twitter or Instagram by using #GFSFoodShop and mentioning @BBCGoodFoodShow – remember the shop with the highest number of votes will automatically be shortlisted so get voting! Appearing at the Healthy Kitchen on Friday and Saturday showing you how to create delicious raw and supercharged dishes to boost your health and vitality Christine is an award winning Nutritionist, Chef and Author with over 18 years of experience. With a passion for creating delicious nourishing recipes Christine has a reputation for transforming people's health and love of real food. As well as seeing clients and writing for national press, Christine runs 'Nourish' cookery classes including popular hands on days for children. Christine is an inspiring nutritional chef well known for her engaging style and enthusiasm. She is the author of numerous health and recipe books including her latest book Supercharged Juices and Smoothies. Christine has particular specialisms in digestive health, coeliac disease and other autoimmune conditions, allergies, healthy ageing and weight loss.

Davina McCall will be at the BBC Good Food Eat Well Show on Saturday 28th February 2015. See her live in the Healthy Kitchen, where she will be demonstrating some of the brilliant recipes from her new book, 5 weeks to Sugar-Free, live. Davina will also sign copies of her new book at the event, take part in live interviews and have her own stand at the show, so there’ll be plenty of chances to say hello!

Hosting the Healthy Kitchen across the weekend. Marcus is a self taught chef, whose passion for cooking drove him to win Iron Chef UK in 2010. Marcus is a regular at the BBC Good Food Shows from hosting theatres to cookery demonstrations. He and his wife run the fabulous Brompton Cookery School and Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, situated in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The school offers courses with Marcus and other chefs for all abilities, from baking through to foraging. Marcus's first book, Chicken, The New Classics! was published by the Watkins group in September 2014 for sales worldwide.

Appearing at the show on Friday afternoon. Phil is a chef, presenter and cookery book author and has been a part of the This Morning family for over 11 years.. Phil is a prolific and highly regarded cookery book author having written 14 books, including his most recent, ‘Phil Vickery’s Guide to Outdoor Food’ – he also finds time to farm and spends many hours working on the land and with his livestock. He is the leading authority on Gluten-Free products and recipes, and has won many awards. He is also the National Food Ambassador for Coeliac UK (www.coeliac.org.uk).

Appearing at the Healthy Kitchen on Saturday and Sunday. Natasha is a self-taught gourmet vegetarian chef, entrepreneur and co-author of two best selling cookbooks. She also has a hugely successful online magazine to which she posts an article every day including recipes, tips, videos and information on how to integrate the alkaline way into everyday life. Natasha launched her latest book, Honestly Healthy For Life, co-written with Vicki Edgson in March 2014.
