Author of the hit book The Henna Artist Alka Joshi joins BAWM to explore the difficulties and nuances of being a South Asian woman, a theme in her book, alongside reflecting on starting a new career in her 50's, growing up in a desi household and breaking stereotypes in South Asian culture.

Shelina, founder of Muslim LGBTQIA+ charity; Hidayah, talks about how her coming out journey prompted her to start Hidayah, her experience of being an LGBTQIA+ individual and Muslim, what Hidayah does and how they help people and what allies need to do to help encourage more acceptance within the south Asian community.

16 year old activist Ishaan Shah talks about his work to raise awareness of slavery in the UK and how people can help prevent it, the need for conversations around sex and consent between parents and their children and what young men need to learn about gender equality. 

I talk to entrepreneur and activist Gina Miller, about how she's challenging the belief 'Greed is Good', by establishing fair and ethical businesses, changing EU legislation to hold the finance sector to account, following the 2008 financial crash and her bravery and fierce determination in facing up to trolls when she took the British government to court over it's Brexit proceedings.
