This Canadian based podcast is designed to open up the conversation from pregnancy to childbirth through mothers sharing their birth stories. Birth can be intimidating, especially for new moms; with all of the advice from well meaning loved ones everything can be quite overwhelming. My hope is this podcast will help all listeners feel empowered by hearing different experiences and ways of birthing.
In todays podcast I'm chatting with the lovely Hailey. Shes a mum of 2 sweet babies and she is also a L&D nurse and actually gave birth in the hospital she works at. She had 2 positive births with the OBs on her floor, I had a giggle when I heard her say that up until almost the very end of her 2nd labour she was up at the nurse counter chit chatting away with all of her girlfriends from work. Talk about feeling comfortable in your birthing space. Please help me give the warmest welcome to Hailey Ryckman.
Catherine stories are amazing, not originally from Canada she talks about her births from being from the UK/Finland and the shift of having her other 5 babies over here. Shes had all different experiences and really learned a lot from each experiences and over time grew to really become an advocate for herself and her babies. She is such a treat and I cant believe we jam packed all of these great stories in one episode. Welcome, Cathy.
