What if the quiet revolution drawing hundreds of millions into daily scripture study—and toward the Savior himself—began with a single question: does anyone actually read this? Brother Mike Madsen, Program Manager for Gospel Learning and Teaching, pulls back the curtain on Come Follow Me, the coming shift to a shorter Sunday schedule, and a teacher-led journey through David and Goliath that finds Christ in a shepherd boy's sling.YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/tHSNfRcv7uMFREE PDF DOWNLOADS OF followHIM QUOTE BOOKSNew Testament: https://tinyurl.com/PodcastNTBookOld Testament: https://tinyurl.com/PodcastOTBookBook of Mormon: https://tinyurl.com/PodcastBMBook WEEKLY NEWSLETTERhttps://tinyurl.com/followHIMnewsletter SOCIAL MEDIAInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/followHIMpodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/followhimpodcastTIMECODE0:00 - Part 1 - Brother Michael Madsen1:44 First Impressions of David: Example or Warning?3:20 Bio4:04 The origins of Come, Follow Me4:50 A family of seven studying in a 10x10 shipping container6:39 Fiji, Africa and the Philippines: The Global Ripple Effect7:26 They didn't see podcasts, seminary alignment, conversations at home8:39 Podcasts shouldn't supplant scripture study (Look for “study skills”)10:07 The Savior's invitations to feast on the word12:15 Honoring the unnamed writers behind the curriculum13:54 The Why behind the new 25-minute Sunday schedule15:10 Igniting fires, not filling containers (more containers)19:50 Inside the optimism and joy of the Church Office Building21:43 Is the Church actually growing?23:33 Come, Follow Me Manual24:48 Four questions for any picture27:06 Goliath's size and armor (and Scripture Study Helps)28:43 “How would it feel?” and facing the giant29:51 The number 4032:29 Israel's demand for a king: the “I/he/his disease”34:45 David speaks: “The armies of the living God”36:31 A different style of warfare38:16 The lion and the bear as divine preparation40:42 Mike's “primary teacher” pride story42:27 Trying on Saul's armor and 5 smooth stones43:13 Pick a character: “The Battle is the Lord's”46:00 How a sling actually works (and the marshmallow story)49:55 The power of silence in teaching50:37 “What do you learn?” and running toward the army52:12 Evan and the locker room54:15 Teach about Jesus Christ, no matter what lesson you teach55:50 David as a type of Christ57:32 Jonathan strips off his robe1:00:57 Saul's jealousy creeps in1:04:35 Saul's pursuit and David flees to Samuel1:05:02 Where jealousy originates. It's very easy to be outraged or depressed about American politics today, and much more challenging and interesting to consider how things might be better. Instead of dismissing our political opponents or viewing them with disdain or disgust, how can we understand them better and learn from them? That's where Braver Angels 1:1 Conversations come in. Two people from different backgrounds and beliefs use a structured list of questions. The goals are for both of them to better understand their experiences, feelings and beliefs, find out what you may have in common, and learn how to bridge divides. In this episode, our podcast host Richard Davies has a lively and fun 40 minute 1:1 Conversation with Sue Lani Madsen about their red/blue, rural/urban differences. Along the way, they learned a lot of interesting things about each other.Sue Lani Madsen is an architect and founding partner of a major regional architecture and interior design firm with over 40 years of experience serving public and private clients. She writes frequently on Substack, is a US Army veteran, volunteer firefighter and mother of five who lives on a ranch in rural Eastern Washington. A political conservative, Sue Lani serves as a co-chair of the Central/Eastern Washington Alliance of Braver Angels.Richard Davies spent nearly four decades as a Correspondent and reporter at ABC News Radio. He began his career as a radio journalist in England. Richard is a liberal and is a volunteer for Braver Angels in Connecticut and New York."How Do We Fix It?" is committed to asking constructive questions across differences. For nine years, Richard co-hosted this podcast with his good friend, James Meigs, of The Manhattan Institute and Wall Street Journal. In recent episodes, we've reported on the people, projects, and ideas of Braver Angels, America's largest volunteer-led grassroots movement devoted to healing divides and building civic muscle. I don't know about you, but to me there are few things as interesting as the hardware/software interface: the point where carefully written code meets the messy, physical world of sensors, lenses, and real-time constraints. It's where a clever abstraction either holds up or falls apart the moment a real signal hits it.That makes Veo a perfect guest. The Copenhagen-based company builds AI-powered cameras that record and analyze sports matches, from grassroots football pitches to professional clubs, and then turn hours of raw footage into something coaches and players can actually use: automatic highlights, player tracking, and match analysis. To get there, they have to capture panoramic video on a custom camera, follow the action without an operator, and crunch an enormous amount of data, reliably and at scale. My guests sit on both sides of that interface. Anders Hellerup Madsen works close to the metal on the camera itself, on the embedded firmware and the GStreamer media pipeline that turns raw sensor data into video. Gorm Casper works further up the stack, on the backend that ingests, processes, and analyzes those matches in Rust. Together we talk about where Rust fits across that whole journey, the trade-offs of doing media and computer vision work in a systems language, and what convinced a sports-tech company to bet on Rust for the parts that absolutely cannot fall over.

What if the reason you feel exhausted, unmotivated, and stuck has nothing to do with discipline and everything to do with what is happening inside your cells? In this episode of the Success Formula Podcast, we sit down with Dr. Ashley Madsen, a leading expert in regenerative and functional medicine, for an unfiltered deep dive into the world of peptides, hormone optimization, NAD therapy, red light therapy, and the future of longevity medicine. We break down what peptides actually are and why they are not new despite the media hype. We talk about BPC-157, SS31, GHK-Cu, growth hormone secretagogues, and which ones are coming back on the market after FDA reclassification. Dr. Madsen explains why most people should not start with peptides before fixing foundational issues like micronutrient deficiencies, thyroid function, and testosterone levels. We also get personal about how a testosterone level of 90 nearly derailed everything and what the path back looked like. Whether you are a busy entrepreneur, someone struggling with brain fog, or just trying to feel like yourself again, this conversation is packed with actionable insight you will not hear in a typical doctor visit. Dr. Madsen also shares her work with Lumara Collective building regenerative homes designed around longevity principles. Additional topics include neuroinflammation in autism, environmental and dietary stressors, reducing toxic burden in the home, and innovative therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), EWOT, laser therapy, and neurologic rehabilitation technologies. Allein. They expose the massive, often hidden expansion of AI data centers and the staggering energy demands behind them—contrasting it with the incredible efficiency of the human brain, which operates on just a fraction of the power. The conversation challenges mainstream narratives around energy, CO2, and natural resources, raising critical questions about sustainability and the future of power consumption. Dr. Madsen then shifts gears into the science of animal biology, breaking down how nature designs animals for optimal energy use. He reveals fascinating insights into scaling, from the legendary racehorse Secretariat to the structural differences between bison and modern beef cattle. The discussion uncovers a growing problem in agriculture: cattle bred for maximum production are being pushed beyond their natural limits, leading to serious cardiovascular risks and increased losses in feedlots. The episode drives home a bold message—whether in technology or livestock, ignoring natural design comes at a cost. From genetics and nutrition to energy efficiency and global food systems, this conversation delivers hard truths and critical insights every producer and consumer needs to hear.

When asked about his entry into Hollywood acting, Michael mentioned moving to Hollywood in 2005 but the transcript ended before he could complete the details. Acting Career Transition Journey Michael discussed his career journey from bartending at the Mondrian Hotel across from the Comedy Store to pursuing stand-up comedy and eventually transitioning to acting. He explained how he developed his comedic skills through stage time and later became interested in drama to tell longer-form stories. Will Robinson, VP of Exploration at West Red Lake Gold Mines (TSX.V:WRLG – OTCQB:WRLGF), joins us to review some of the recent high-grade gold drill results returned from the Austin 904 Complex, underground at the 13 level of the Madsen Gold Project, in the Red Lake district of Ontario, Canada. We also discuss some of the exploration news on tap in 2026, with assays pending from Fork and Rowan, underground drilling planned along the 13 East Drive into Austin and Derlak, and surface drilling planned at Starratt-Olsen. AUSTIN 904 COMPLEX HIGHLIGHTS: Hole MM26D-13-4881-031 intersected 5.35m @ 215.46 g/t Au, from 135.10m to 140.45m, including 2.95m @ 388.90 g/t Au, from 136.00m to 138.95m. Hole MM26D-13-4881-034 intersected 4.05m @ 50.34 g/t Au, from 135.5m to 139.55m, including 0.5m @ 390.36 g/t Au, from 137.05m to 137.55m. Hole MM26D-13-4881-018 intersected 3m @ 61.70 g/t Au, from 122.5m to 125.5m, including 0.5m @ 61.70 g/t Au, from 123.5m to 124.0m. Hole MM26D-13-4881-026 intersected 8.65m @ 13.25 g/t Au, from 122.35m to 131.00m, including 0.95m @ 42.63 g/t Au, from 123.00m to 123.95m; also including 4m @ 17.64 g/t Au, from 125m to 129m. The results from Austin 904 Complex presented in this update were all drilled from the 13 Level of the Madsen Mine at approximately 650m depth. These results are in addition to those recently announced on February 25, 2026 which highlighted 219.73 grams per tonne (“g/t”) gold (“Au”) over 4.8 metres (“m”), 148.36 g/t Au over 3m and 133.13 g/t Au over 2.5m. The Austin 904 presents a unique opportunity in Madsen as a completely intact panel of gold mineralization approximately 200m by 200m in size. This area of the deposit was not historically mined by the old-timers, (as it contained key ventilation infrastructure at that time which is no longer required). This is rare for the Madsen deposit and places WRLG in a favorable position to have full access to the entire mineralized zone for mining. This untapped potential is expected to result in larger stopes and increased efficiency during mine design and extraction. Recent drilling success from the Austin 904 demonstrates the potential for discovery of additional high-grade lenses of gold mineralization in the main Austin Zone very similar to those that have already been delineated in the South Austin 4447 area during the 2025 campaign. Will mentions that more assays are still pending from the 3,000 meters of drilling at Fork, and the 6,000 meters of drilling at the satellite Rowan deposit. With regards to future exploration, there will be upcoming underground drilling planned along the 13 East Drive into Lower Austin and Derlak, and more surface drilling into the prior-producing Starratt-Olsen area; which is near-surface and adjacent to Fork. Most landscapers using AI are only scratching the surface — writing emails, posting on Facebook, maybe a caption here and there. But that's a fraction of what AI can actually do for your business. In this episode, Scott sits down with Erik Madsen — entrepreneur, business coach, and founder of Crescita Innovations — to talk about how landscapers can use AI as a real strategic tool. Not just for content. For running the business. Erik shares his 30-40-30 formula for getting quality output from AI, the five foundation files that train AI to actually know your business, and why treating AI like an advisory board changes the way you make decisions. You'll also hear real examples — from landscapers using GPS satellite measurements to build instant on-site estimates, to snow companies using cameras and AI to automatically dispatch drivers when conditions hit. If you've ever felt like you're behind on AI or not using it right, this episode will clear that up. In this episode of Brutal Honesty, Nick Rowley sits down with legendary trial lawyer Sean Claggett to break down the Utah crosswalk death case that came back with a record-setting $81 million retrial verdict after the first trial ended in a defense verdict. The jury found the driver responsible for the 2018 death of 11-year-old Michael Madsen, rejecting the defense position that Michael ran in front of the truck. Nick and Sean get into what really changed at the retrial - jury selection, owning the hardest fact in the case, and refusing to let the defense turn a child with the walk signal into the one to blame. Sean shares why he believed jurors would reject that argument and how he used the defense's own expert to neutralize the “running into the crosswalk” issue. They also delve into trial strategy, bystander trauma, child cases, loss, PTSD, healing, and the emotional weight that comes with fighting for justice at the highest level. For plaintiff lawyers, this episode is a masterclass in trial courage and what it takes to try a case when the defense is betting everything on blame-shifting. The West Ham game was a non-negotiable. Once again, Chelsea and Liverpool had handed Villa the opportunity to take control of the Champions League race and unlike previous fumbles, this time they took it. A McGinn free-kick, a much-needed Watkins' goal, twenty-three shots, and a performance that looked more like the team that had won eleven games in a row than anything seen in the previous two months. In this episode the My Old Man Said podcast show we break down what actually changed — why the tempo was different, why Sancho suddenly looks like the player clubs have paid six figures a week for, and what McGinn's return means beyond the obvious. There is also a discussion of whether this is sustainable or whether it took a relegation-threatened West Ham side, forced into an unplanned formation after a warm-up injury, to make Villa look this good.Elsewhere: Watkins dropped from England and what that means for his remaining season, Tielemans' neat twenty-minute cameo, the Digne versus Madsen question, and why Villa have scored more goals from outside the box than any other team in Europe's top five leagues.Destiny is in Villa's own hands and it's time for them to do it themselves.UTVListen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.Become a MOMS Member for ad-free & extra shows - MOMS MembershipJoin the show's listener Facebook group The Mad Few.Credits:David Michael - @myoldmansaid | Chris Budd - @BUDD_music / Phillip Shaw - @prsgameThis Podcast has been created and uploaded by My Old Man Said. On this episode of Rural Route, host Trent Loos is joined by Dr. Fred Madsen from Illinois for a powerful conversation about the hidden environmental and health concerns surrounding the rapid expansion of AI data centers. Trent and Dr. Madsen raise serious questions about emissions, low-frequency sound waves, and other disturbances that may impact livestock, wildlife, and human health. Trent points to troubling cases, including livestock issues linked to low-frequency vibrations near energy infrastructure, warning that these emerging technologies may be creating unintended consequences for rural communities. The discussion also dives deep into the impact of electricity and electromagnetic activity on animal health. Dr. Madsen explains how stray voltage has been connected to dairy cow health problems like mastitis and explores his research on electron flow within the body and how it relates to life and biological function. Trent adds examples from agriculture, including a Kansas rancher using stray voltage to power electric fencing, and raises concerns about frequency-based tracking devices placed on livestock. The conversation then turns to the massive resource demands of AI data centers, including water use. Trent notes that a large portion of these facilities are located in the Colorado River Basin, a region already facing severe water shortages, and mentions discussions of a proposed moratorium on new data centers in North Dakota. Dr. Madsen also shares insights from decades of dairy research, including how producers manage heat stress in cattle in warmer states like Florida and Arizona. Finally, the episode explores the growing importance of personalized nutrition. Dr. Madsen explains how mitochondrial haplotypes and generational biology influence how individuals process food, challenging the idea that a single diet works for everyone. The discussion highlights how understanding genetics, environment, and nutrition can lead to better health outcomes for both people and livestock.
