15 year old twins Jeanette and Dannette went missing on March 18, 1990 in Augusta, Georgia. The two went to their Godfather Ted's house in Bethlehem, Georgia where the twins used to live, about 40 minutes away. They went to get money for their bus fare and that was the last time they were seen. A couple days before they went missing, they mentioned to their mother that a white van was following them home. From the beginning of the investigation, there was no investigation. Right away the twins were called runaways so they didn't search for them because they thought they would be wasting time and they would run away again. In 2017, the case got more attention when the Fall Line Podcast covered the case. 32 years later, the twins are still missing and there has never been a full on investigation. There have been theories and other people, police could have questioned and they have not done so. While researching this case, a lot of people think there is a coverup within the police department or maybe discrimination.
