Hello listeners!! I got a new microphone but there is still some feedback and it amplified background noises. I will figure it out for future episodes so bare with me. Why did hundreds of people willingly follow a madman to their deaths and murder their children? This episode is the first in a three part series on the Jonestown Massacre as I try to examine why people would do that. What was it about him? How could they look past his abusive controlling behavior and follow him? How did he prevent them from leaving?
