In this episode of ETC "Off The Top", we are blessed to sit down and chat with Mr. George L. Carter III. He's the founder and CEO of Skout Strategy, which provides consultative services in the indoor vertical farming industry. The company was founded based on George's passion for developing innovative ideas for food systems in the underserved community; and their success is evident in the types of projects they undertake. Because of his unique position in the industry, we approached his career path from the perspective of an Agricultural Engineer. BY THE NUMBERS: African Americans representation = 10.4 percent (*) Average Salary = $58,433 (USD) 10-year Growth Rate = 9.2 percent (*) NOTE: This number has seen a dramatic decline over the past ten years.
