The Champions League league phase closed out in full Matchday Mayhem, and the boys are here to break it all down. Jimmy Conrad, Charlie Davies, and Tony Meola unpack an unhinged UCL matchday 8 that concluded with a dramatic goalkeeping goal for Benfica - and of course Tony has strong opinions about it (05:54)! Marvin Dills became the latest American to make his bow in the competition (10:55). Malik Tillman stole the show with his second brace of the competition (11:54), while Folarin Balogun and Weston McKennie went head-to-head in a tense scoreless draw as Monaco and Juventus moved on (18:10). Club Brugge added insult to injury for Tim Weah and Marseille (27:21), and it was heartbreak for Sergiño Dest and Ricardo Pepi as PSV crashed out (35:15). The crew then looks ahead to the Champions League Knockout Playoffs, breaking down potential matchups for the Americans still standing (34:37), before shifting their focus to today's Europa League action (40:30). And finally, it's time for a USMNT attacking midfield check-in (47:17). With Mauricio Pochettino's depth chart taking shape, the guys dig into the club form of Gio Reyna and Brenden Aaronson, debating where each stands heading into the next international window (59:10). In this episode, Carl sits down with Stan Hays, co founder and CEO of Operation BBQ Relief, to talk about what it really looks like to feed people on the worst day of their lives. From the recent deployment to Jamaica after a massive hurricane to the emotional weight of serving their thirteen millionth meal, Stan shares the stories behind the numbers, including the moment a simple pulled pork sandwich became a symbol of love, humanity and hope.Joining the conversation in studio is champion pitmaster Tillman Lee Nelson III of Tillmans BBQ. Tillman rolls in with award winning brisket, his Perfect 200 rub and honest talk about the grind of the competition circuit, marriage on the road, barbecue family and why he still watches every face in the room when people take that first bite. Together, Stan and Tillman dig into why barbecue has such a deep emotional pull, how the barbecue community shows up for each other, and what it means to use food as a vehicle for comfort, connection and service.Key takeaways: • What it takes for Operation BBQ Relief to activate in places like Jamaica and why safety, dignity and cultural respect matter as much as the food. • How a pulled pork sandwich, a parking lot and one stranger's gratitude helped Stan find his “why” and changed how he sees the work forever. • Why competitive barbecue is a family sport for Tillman, how his wife Amy became the real secret weapon, and why the barbecue community feels like a second family. • Simple ways listeners can get involved, from volunteering with OBR at OBR.org to supporting the people doing the cooking in their own communities.About Walk-In Talk Podcast and Walk In Talk Media:Walk-In Talk Podcast is hosted by food industry veteran and storyteller Carl Fiadini, shining a light on the flavor, the hustle and the heart of the industry. In this episode of NFL Second Acts, hosts Charles “Peanut” Tillman and Roman Harper welcome former Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham for a conversation that’s equal parts inspiring and entertaining. Jimmy talks about his decision to retire from football and reflects on the moments that defined his career, including his “welcome to the NFL” moment and the time he famously jumped over Roman on the field. Jimmy also shares his death defying journey rowing across the Arctic Ocean and why he did it to support children in need. The guys also explore what life has looked like since Jimmy stepped away from the game. He’s now a licensed helicopter pilot, a bank entrepreneur and he’s entered the world of venture capitalism. The discussion dives into his growing passion for aviation, his personal Mount Rushmore, and the story behind his old nickname, “Big Red.” It’s a revealing look at how Jimmy has carried his drive and curiosity beyond football, turning every challenge into a new adventure. New General Rule: When a celebrity promotes an already existing picture book, it is rarely a good thing. I am thinking, naturally, of the episode of Friends where they read Love You Forever in its entirety. But it doesn't just happen on television shows. Recently a Kardashian recommended today's title, and to my horror and delight it's 20 years old (if you go by its original self-published publication date). A self-proclaimed books for parents (rather than children) we have to weigh Tillman's talents as an illustrator against her storytelling choices. The end result is that we have two rather different final scores. Listen and see why that is! Making Extra Income While on Vacation in New York with Paul Tillman Podcast: Find out more about Blueberry Markets – Click Here Find out more about my Online Video Forex Course Book a Call with Andrew or one of his team now Click Here to Attend my Free Masterclass Leave me your comments and feedback #613: Making Extra Income While on Vacation in New York with Paul Tillman In this video: 00:26 – Paul Tillman trading from New York on vacation. 00:44 – Account up +1% in 2 days of the week. 01:25 – We can teach you how to trade in just 30 minutes a day. 02:10 – Trade and travel. 02:49 – How to contact us and learn how to trade for yourself. How would you like to be able to make extra income, extra money, and still go on vacation with your family to sites like New York City? Let's get into that and more right now. Hello, this is Paul Tillman with The Forex Trading Coach, and this is video and podcast #613. Paul Tillman trading from New York on vacation. I am standing here right in the middle of Times Square in New York, on vacation here. The last time I was with you, I was with Andrew on the top of Grandfather Mountain in the North Carolina mountains, shooting a video and telling everybody how forex can help change their lives. Account up +1% in 2 days of the week. So I'm sitting here in New York. I've been trading — this is only the second day of the week — where I've made more than 1% already, taking trades on XAU/GBP, GBP/JPY, and even BTC/USD. And I've done that in just an hour of trading yesterday and 30 minutes of trading this morning. The key is to make the most of your opportunities — checking the charts at certain times of the day, getting into a daily routine, not getting stuck to your screen all day looking at such short time frame charts. There's no need for that. You only need to trade 30 minutes to an hour a day to make it create income. We can teach you how to trade in just 30 minutes a day. What we can teach you is how to do that. We have a course that goes all the way from A to Z — talking about the very beginnings of forex trading all the way to the end of our strategy. We have live webinars that traders get on every week. We're looking for live trades, talking about our story with trades and questions. And then we also have a forum site. The interesting thing about the forum site is that in that 30 minutes a day, outside of that, there was a trade on the USD/MXN just last night on the forum site. I was able to get on the six-hour charts, take a buy trade, woke up this morning ready to tackle New York again, and saw that trade had hit the profit target. Trade and travel. So, being here in New York City — seeing a few other professional sporting events, seeing the sights and sounds of Times Square in the capital of the world, as they say — you can do all these things and still trade at the same time. Most of us have families, we have jobs. I've got a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old boy who keep me running constantly. But I can trade around that, and even the job that I have as well outside of trading. So, we're headed to go see the sights now around New York City. Going to see our hometown Carolina Hurricanes hockey team tonight before heading back home to Raleigh tomorrow. How to contact us and learn how to trade for yourself. If you're interested in anything that I've said about The Forex Trading Coach and having forex change your life, put a comment at the bottom of this video or hit “Contact Us.” Visit our site at TheForexTradingCoach.com. So we're off to go see more sights in New York — ice hockey tonight — and we'll talk to you later. Have a great rest of the week. On the evening of January 27, 2001, Roxana Verona arrived at the Etna, NH home of her friends Half and Susanne Zantop for a dinner the couple had planned with friends that night. When no one answered the door, Verona entered the home and found the brutalized bodies of Half and Susanne, both dead from multiple stab wounds. The murder of the Zantops shocked the tiny community of Etna and the faculty and students of Dartmouth College, where the couple worked at the time of their deaths. The murder baffled local police, who had very little experience with violent crime, much less murder. The first few weeks of the investigation were hampered by an overwhelming number of unhelpful tips from the public and considerable time was wasted on chasing false leads. When investigators finally caught up with the killers nearly a month later, their identities were not at all what anyone was expecting, and their motive for the murder made even less sense.ResourcesBelkin, Douglas, and Lois Shea. 2001. “I still haven't got over that Super Bowl, I have yet to watch that game through because it's that painful and I was that close to getting my ring. I hate the Super Bowl. I hate February.” Charles "Peanut" Tillman On this episode of The Pivot Podcast, former NFL star Charles "Peanut" Tillman joins Ryan, Channing, and Fred for an unforgettable conversation that goes far beyond the football field. Known for his legendary "Peanut Punch" and Pro Bowl career with the Chicago Bears, Tillman opens up about the highs and lows of life in the NFL, the mental grind of competition, and what truly defined his time on the gridiron. He shares how it's still difficult to think about coming up short in two Super Bowls and how it pains him to this day to watch football in February. He takes the guys through his infamous career, some of his legendary plays and how he was the only player close to reaching a historic NFL milestone, of the 40/40 club with 44 forced fumbles and two picks short of 40 interceptions. But his story didn't end with football. In a tremendous pivot of honor, Peanut talks about his decision to join the FBI after NFL retirement—a rare and inspiring path for a professional athlete. He shares what drove him to serve in a completely different arena, the challenges of the transition, and how discipline and purpose continue to shape his life. Growing up with his father in the military, he always had a passion to serve the country and joining the bureau was his way to make an impact. But recent changes and demands in protecting the homeland led Peanut to abruptly leave the FBI after eight years of service, which he opens up on and shares why for the first time. Peanut also reflects on the most important role he's ever played: being a father. He gets deeply personal about his family, including the emotional journey with his daughter's health, and how that experience changed his entire perspective on life, love, and prayer. Fred deems his storytelling as his favorite share in our Pivot history. The guys wrap up talking ball, sharing career moments and reminisce he plays we never live down! This is an episode about resilience, reinvention, and real priorities. Don't miss this raw and heartfelt sit-down with a true game-changer—on and off the field.
