Well, that is exactly what we believe a young adult ministry is about. But it's not an easy journey, and there is a lot of things to be considered along the way.

With Emily out doing mission work, we recorded a couple of episodes beforehand for this week. However, we anticipated having her phone in for an episode where she could give an update to the work they were doing, and unfortunately, she has not had cell signal enough to do so.  So we improvised and brought a goofy kid in to join us all today! In this multi episode series on the book of Revelation, we will do our best to summarize the majority of the book and discuss some of what we believe it to mean. We will do several episodes over the next few weeks to cover all 22 chapters so stay tuned! John, while in exile, is visited by Jesus and given foresight into the end of days, the second coming of Christ. This book tells of what he saw. This is a very deep, and heavy book, and is perceived differently by many. Be cautious about any research you do regarding this book as it may give some fright. As always, we suggest reading this scripture yourself and allowing His word to be revealed to you as He deems necessary.   

The book of Habakkuk is an often-overlooked book in the Old Testament. The prophet cries out for God to explain why he appears to be sitting idly by while the world seemingly falls apart. However, after God's plan is revealed to him, Habakkuk offers a prayer that is from the heart and full of praise...but what does this mean to us today? Take a listen and find out what we think!

Today's episode is all about Moses and how we can relate to him and his story. Follow along and see if you can relate to the, summarized, story of Moses!   For more in depth understanding of Moses and his story, refer to the book of Exodus. 

A topic that we find to be crucially important to our everyday lives, acceptance. It is one of those ideals that cause people to suffer or thrive, but it doesn't have to be. Think about how much greater the world would be if we could all act the exact way God intended? The exact way God designed us to be...What would the world look like if we could all be genuine without fear of being different?

What is courage? Where is your courage? We were not given a spirit of fear and timidity, but a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. Another quick listen today as we discuss being courageous through spiritual battles.

Another quick dive into a short book of the Old Testament today! The book of Obadiah. Obadiah, meaning "worshiper of Yahweh", was a prophet who delivered the Lord's message declaring the fall of Edom after the way the treated their neighbors in Judah during a time of destruction and calamity. Follow along for another quick episode and don't forget to share!

Follow along as we read through the book of Jonah and try to decipher the meaning behind the word.  The story of Jonah and the Whale is a fairly common story in most Sunday School classes. But what really happened? How did Jonah end up in the belly of a fish? What happens after Jonah is spit out? When there's a fork in the path...which way should we go? Join us and find out!

In today's episode, we're going to pick apart Proverbs 4:23. We'll go over a couple different translations and compare them to bring us to a conclusion of what this verse means to us! Send us a message or comment and tell us what you feel is being spoken to you in this verse!

Be on the lookout for false teachers! Scripture warns us in 2 Peter 2:1 about false teachers being among us. While we may not be able to give any specifics on traits or words to watch for, it's important to know the scripture for yourself, so you can be aware of anyone who may misuse or misteach the Word of God. In this episode we discuss a couple of things related to this as we have encountered teachings that have made us question the validity of the message being portrayed.

Prayer is our direct line of communication to God. What kind of things do you pray for? When do you pray? Take a listen to a few of the things we often pray for and then drop a comment or message us on Facebook and tell us about your prayer style or the things you pray about most often!

Why do some churches still have a traditional service? Why are other generations so protective of their traditions? Is it so hard to change with the times? Well we attempt to help everyone understand the answers to those questions in this episode. There's nothing wrong with some good ole traditions! Everyone comes from a different walk, but the path to the Throne Room is the same nonetheless!

In this touching episode, we discuss the different aspects of serving and what it means to involve yourself in projects or ministries for the better good. Having a servant's heart isn't easy, but it is WELL WORTH IT! 

There are many different reasons to alter or change ourselves and our habits. However, without a strong motivating factor, it makes it difficult to stick to those changes. And when something becomes a habit, the need for change is even greater, but the desire to change has to be equally as great. spend some time in prayer today and ask God what things you need to change, and ask Him to help guide you in the process of doing so, as well as to walk with you as you make the difference!

In an attempt to keep this episode shorter, we decided to talk about a couple of our favorite verses. Starting with "Em" in 2 Timothy 3 and finishing up with Matt's in Ephesians 6. Trust is one of those topics in life that really perplex us. How do we do it? How do we know when it's safe to? Does it get easier? This episode may not answer those questions for you, but maybe it'll help give you some insight as to how we pursuit trust and keep Jesus at the center of it!
