Safe Harbor International Ministries is a non-profit organization based out of Atlanta, GA. Our main objective as an organization is to “train our communities, restore families and assist men, women and children that have experienced trauma and domestic violence.” The goal of this podcast, “Harboring Positivity” is to create an open conversation about all things pertaining to Families and Communities. We will take on topics such as: relationships, abuse, parenting, trauma and so much more. Throughout our podcast series, Safe Harbor will include guest speakers ranging from licensed professionals, experts in domestic violence and child abuse, community members and leaders and members of the Safe Harbor team. The goal of connecting with these guests on the podcast is to invite conversation and provide insight and advice from people with knowledge and personal experiences. With taking on some difficult topics we always want to bring the idea back to how we can harbor positivity within our own lives and communities.

    Join our host Executive Director Marquetta Smith and special guest Chief Apostle Antonio Cummings and Apostle Amaris Cummings as they dive further into church abuse and share some of their own experiences. Today we are going deeper into Spiritual abuse: This segment will help our listeners understand how to recognize If a church is operating in spiritual abusive behaviors? Our special guest for this show today will talk about their upbringing in the church and shed some more light on this subject. Our guest for today is Chief Apostle Antonio D. Cummings currently resides in Clayton County Georgia, where he serves as Senior Pastor of Kingdom L.I.F.E. Community Center, Global. He holds his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and he is also a retired Gunnery Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps. He is a leader with the heart to serve and to train and teach other men to return to their position in family, ministry and in the marketplace. He is currently a Chaplain with the local Police Department for Clayton County here in Georgia and does consulting with the local Board of Commissioners.We also have Apostle Amaris who is the co-laborer and wife to Chief Apostle Antonio at Kingdom L.I.F.E. Community Center, Global. She  is   an   International   Trainer,   Consultant,   Entrepreneur,   Speaker, Certified   Christian   Counselor,   and   Certified   Life   Coach.  She   holds   a Bachelors’,   and Master's   in   Business   Administration   and   Marketing   and   a Doctorate in Business. Spiritual abuse is when a leader (or a person in a spiritual authority position) uses their spiritual position to control, manipulate or dominate another person. In this series, we will talk to some individuals who have gone through this and they will share their testimony of how they made it out.
