Plus, they chat about a new poll in the New York mayor's race which shows Zohran Mamdani with an impressive lead. Next, Carl talks to RCP contributor Eric Spitz about the Democratic Party's evolving positions on Israel and inner city crime. This week on the Mark Levin Show, the Justice Department is launching a federal grand jury investigation into former Obama administration officials accused of their role in 2016's Russia-gate. This legal move could lead to criminal charges against key Cabinet members from the Obama era, including James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey. President Barack Obama needs to be questioned for his role. Barack Obama is the central figure in uncovering the full scope of the Russia Collusion scandal and the attempt to undermine the Trump campaign and presidency. The Supreme Court does not grant him blanket immunity. It offers a presumption of immunity, which could be challenged based on what the investigation reveals. Regardless, there is no immunity from criminal investigation or from being compelled to testify under oath—period. Israel is being attacked and accused of a deep Zionistic rhetoric that Israel has special interests regarding the spread of Zionism. Isreal is defending itself and protecting the freedoms of Jews, Christians and non-radical Muslims who oppose the Radical-Islamic regimes. Sen Elizabeth Warren met with Zohran Mamdani to endorse his socialist and Marxist agenda. Warren asserts that affordability is the primary crisis facing our nation, but this is merely a facade to disguise their true intentions. She also claims that this aligns with the Democratic message and their core values. Fidel Castro spoke of free healthcare, free food, and housing, yet he stifled his people's progress, leading to the current disastrous state of Cuba. The handouts they are advocating will ultimately cause more harm than good, jeopardizing everything you have worked tirelessly for, merely to provide for illegal immigrants, while also undermining essential institutions like our Police Departments, ICE, and more. Democrats have been more aggressive in gerrymandering than Republicans. There's not a single Republican representative from Massachusetts. There's only one Republican representative from Maryland. In 2020, the Census made "mathematic" errors resulting in upwards of 5 congressional seats assigned to blue states, which should have been held by red states. President Trump as an iconic, history-making president who thinks outside the box, achieving success as both a businessman and leader. Trump leverages America's economic power to rebuild industries, repatriate businesses, access closed economies, and compete with Communist China, while applying it to foreign policy—mirroring Ronald Reagan's approach that led to the Soviet Union's collapse. Chicago's Mayor Brandon Johnson warns of a "point of no return" for city finances amid a $1.1 billion 2026 deficit, pushing for tax hikes like a millionaire tax, corporate head tax and wants progressive revenue options. In On Power, it explains that the progressive movement aims to fundamentally transform America and Western democracies by centralizing government power, diminishing individual freedoms, and reengineering society through soft negative power. Johnson's progressive tax hikes reflects a drive to expand centralized governmental authority, which will erode economic freedoms and individual autonomy in pursuit of societal reengineering. This is what NYC can look forward to if Zohran Mamdani gets elected. Mandami repeatedly trashes America, failed to assimilate, and acting as a revolutionary against the country since his teenage arrival. His Marxist, Islamist, and Jew-hating ideologies echo terrorist lines. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

ICE Identifies Beacon Resident It Detained

Agency: Guatemalan man deported on July 18 A Beacon resident arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in June has been removed from the country, the agency said on Thursday (Aug. 7). ICE officers detained Santos Belarmino Perez Suchite on June 20 for violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act, an agency spokesperson said. Perez, who lived on North Elm Street, is a Guatemalan national who "admitted he entered the United States by crossing the U.S.-Mexico border illegally in 2024," said Marie Ferguson, the ICE representative. "Not only did this alien blatantly disregard our nation's immigration laws, but he also jeopardized community and officer safety by attempting to flee on foot, leading officials on a brief chase before his capture." ICE removed Perez from the U.S. on July 18, Ferguson said, without specifying where he was sent. Beacon Mayor Lee Kyriacou announced on June 20 that ICE agents had made an arrest in Beacon after his office was informed by residents about their presence. While city officials stated they were unaware of who ICE had detained or the nature of any charges, Police Chief Tom Figlia confirmed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation that an enforcement operation had taken place. "I want to make clear that at no time leading up to this incident did city staff, including our Police Department, have any notice of or involvement in ICE operations," Kyriacou said at the time. "As a city, we remain committed to our safe, inclusive community policy, to preserving rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution and to avoiding any policies which engender fear among law-abiding families." Figlia said the following week that ICE returned on June 21, but he did not know if anyone was detained. ICE did not respond at the time to a request from The Current for information. The agency responded to a second request this week but only released information about Perez. "Under President Trump's leadership, Secretary [of Homeland Security Kristi] Noem is reversing former President Biden's catch-and-release policy that allowed millions of unvetted illegal aliens to be let loose on American streets," Ferguson said. "It comes down to one question: Is this person violating our nation's immigration laws? If the answer is yes, we're going to remove them." A Beacon resident wrote in a comment after The Current's June 20 story that he saw the ICE officers on North Elm Street. "ICE, the FBI and what appeared to be one police officer (not from the City of Beacon) staked out the house, parked at different locations along the street around 6 a.m., presumably to apprehend him on his morning commute," he wrote. "I believe the kid they took is one of our local bakers. We talk often. We say hello daily." The federal agents were armed and wearing body armor, he wrote.

She also claims that this aligns with the Democratic message and their core values. The handouts they are advocating will ultimately cause more harm than good, jeopardizing everything you have worked tirelessly for, merely to provide for illegal immigrants, while also undermining essential institutions like our Police Departments, ICE, and more. In addition, the extreme left and radical Islamists are attempting to sway our youth, Conservatives, and Republicans into harboring negative feelings towards Israel. This situation is perilous because it highlights exactly why these so-called influencers are pushing this agenda—they are thirsty for clicks. Furthermore, Jasmine Crocket, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Al Green, and the 5th Column isolationists are eager to back Hamas and the antisemitism that afflicts our country and the world. Crocket labels President Trump a Temu Nazi, which is both disrespectful and absurd; she is the one who truly supports the real Nazis - Radical Islamists, terrorists, and Marxists disguised as Democrats. Lastly,  Democrats are leaving Texas to affect the redistricting effort, putting it at a stall. Sen John Cornyn reached out to the FBI seeking assistance in locating, apprehending, and investigating numerous Texas Democratic lawmakers who have left the lone Star State to impede a Republican-led redistricting initiative.  Learn more about your ad choices. Send us a textI've known of the gentleman in this episode for over 30 years, but just actually met him face to face around 6 months ago. Ken is one of the pioneers as it relates to working k9's in the state of North Carolina. It is likely that he introduced the Malinois to police work in NC. The description below does not come close to describing his accomplishments or contributions to the police K9 community. If you don't know his name there's a good reason. From my perspective Ken doesn't have a huge social media footprint. The reason is that he is still very actively working procuring and training dogs and not focused on self promotion. It was an honor to pick his brain and stroll down memory lane. Orchard Knoll K9 was started in 1983 by Ken Mathias. Ken was with the Raleigh Police Department and started Raleigh's Police K-9 Program. Ken's original donated dog failed on the street prompting Ken to sell his truck and purchase Juno a Belgian Malinois imported by Gerry Lapham from Germany. Juno became the first Malinois in the United States to achieve the United States Police Canine Associations PD1, PD2 and Detector Dog certification. Ken continued to import dogs from Europe for Police Departments across the United States providing over 5000 top quality dogs for police service. Ken continued with the Raleigh Police Department rising through the ranks across multiple divisions until retirement at the rank of Division Commander (Major). Upon retiring from Raleigh Police Department Ken went on to become a special agent with the NC Department of Special Investigations serving as their Program Coordinator and K9 trainer. Ken is now retired from the SBI, but working diligently procuring and training dogs at Orchard Knoll. Contact Ken at: ken@orchardknollk9.com or (919) 622-4807.We are pleased to have Vested Interest in K9's as a sponsor. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is undergoing a major transition after lawmakers and Gov. Mike Kehoe reinstated a gubernatorial board that oversees the agency. But the changes for the police department go beyond the reimposition of the state board. Attorney General Andrew Bailey's office will now be in charge of defending the St. Louis Police Department in certain civil litigation cases. That's because Bailey's office is in charge of defending state agencies against claims to the state's legal defense fund. “The legal expense fund is really the insurance policy for the state,” Bailey said in an interview on Wednesday. “So any claims enumerated in that statute that are in connection with the public officials duties are covered by [the fund] … the state's law firm, the Missouri Attorney General's Office, defends against them.”

While she was there she met 3 year old Emerson Lucier who was going through her 3rd battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia . This meeting inspired Jennifer to start her HERO PACKAGE FOUNDATION to help put a smile on the faces of these kids who were battling these difficult diseases. Jennifer, who in 2023 had to retire from the Police Department after suffering an injury while trying to save a person who was drowning, was also diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer that year.
