Although we've come to the endddd of the roaddd..... I am so excited to bid this last season a joyful farewell. I successfully completed a Masters degree in Global Media Management, while in England, and just wanted to share what I've learned so far, in hopes that you all can apply my lessons to your lives! I love you, and I hope you enjoy the 6 things I learned, while living in the United Kingdom for a year.
The road to authentic self confidence is not a RACE! This is your life. It's about your progress-- Take some time to love on yourself, celebrate yourself, acknowledge your qualities and assess your flaws. You don't have to beat yourself down alllll the way to the finish line. I pray this episode blesses you as it blessed me!
A major aspect of authentic self-confidence is the ability to maintain productivity, even as you wait for God to move in your life. Being patient does not equate to immobility. God has called for us to WAIT on His timing but to also partner with Him in His plans for our lives. So, please don't allow yourself to fall into in discouragement just because you don't see the fruit of your labor just YET. Make THE decision to keep moving.
I just needed to vent what was on my heart. Hopefully, this episode makes it easier for you all to be more vulnerable during your own journeys! I love you all!
Today's episode is about FEELING LIKE THE UGLY FRIEND. I will walk you through my experience, struggling with this, and how I found out that it is a LIE. It is quite alright to feel how you feel; we are all entitled to our feelings, but we are responsible for our healing and freedom!
Haughtivities is all about AUTHENTIC self-confidence! The only way to be SECURE in yourself is to understand God's perspective, which is the only perspective that should matter. Validation from your peers is all fine and dandy, but their validation, alone, won't be enough to sustain you. Bottom line is, ask the Lord what He thinks. Simply.
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! Today's episode will give you a glimpse of what Haughtivities is all about. So, get comfortable and prepare for some relatable, transparent, and humorous conversation!
