October brings the chills, scare, and terror!  In this episode Golds and JP delve into the mind of madness and voodoo.  Join us as we make our way through Shadow Man and Silent Hill!

We take a break from the console world and slide into the cockpits of some PC-DOS games.  Launching into space from the command prompt we fight for the dark side, battle evil kitties, and destroy rogue AIs.  Do we have what it takes to man the unwieldy controls of the keyboard?  Probably not, but it was sure interesting trying!

What do our kids think?  In the era, we are in with the PS4s and XBOX Ones.  Augmented and Virtual Reality, I wondered how the games I played what I was my children’s age hold up to their scrutiny.  The month my children are our guests!  Join Jackson, Parker, Spencer, Golds and me as they determine games that I played when “I was your age” hold up!

This month we finish up with our last two games of the series.

Seems we bit off a little more than we could chew.  On our Patron’s Josh suggestion, we selected the games we have poured the most hours into, and we all came back with Squaresoft games!  We had to break the show up into two parts!  Enjoy with special guest our Patron Josh!

This month we take a look at fighting games!  Darkstalkers, Samurai Shodown, and Double Dragon V on the list as we see just how ridiculous some of them are, and we learn something new!  With special guest, Greg from our earlier episodes drops by.      

You know, we always do a theme but sometimes we just want to play some games, because they are good.  That’s why this month we decided to just do a grab bag of some good games we have been itching to play.  We also had the pleasure to record at Big Red’s Retro Games and had the owner Brad as a guest!

This month we take a look at a couple of franchise mascot games. Some the did a great job, and others... well.. they tried, and JP doesn't like the name, Dr. Eggman.

Well, it's that time again to pick or attempt to anyway, spooky games to play for this month's festivities.  We turned down the light and cranked up the volume to some dark, and hopefully fun titles.  

This month we take on one of the most controversial topics in all of nerdom! Which is better Star Trek or Star Wars! We pit the two behemoth franchises to the test on the NES. Who will win? Listen and find out.

 This month we select some gems and some turds that we spent summer renting, or playing during those precious summer days when school was out!  Enjoy our look at Link's Awakening, A Boy and his Blob, and Jackal.  We also talk about a special character mentioned by a patron!  As always thank you for listening!

With the holidays drawing to a close, we remember how excited we were to get the ultimate Christmas present, our first console!  One of the important hooks that determined if we fell in love, or got bored with our new prize was the games that were immediately available.  In that vein, we take a look at what titles were available and how much did our parents spend to make the memorable morning happen!

We take our initial look at the Castlevania franchise!  From it's groundbreaking mechanics to the not-so-hot attempts, the Castlevania franchise is one of the most well known in all video game-dom!  This month we take a look at Castlevania and Castlevania II: Simon's Quest for the NES.  Oh, and JP is eager to tell everyone about his awesome opportunity to tour Bungie Studios.

This month we take some time talking about Jon and JP's outing to the 2017 Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and with Halloween fast approaching, it seems fitting, as most shows do, for some horror in our lives.  Or what we think was horror.  From the terrors of the night to the outrageous, join us as we take a look at what passes for scary.
