The Seminoles are off to another great start in 2025, ranked Top 5 in the nation. FSU's Captain at Shortstop, Alex Lodise, joined Brett Nevitt earlier this year to talk about his rapid rise to stardom, improvements on his mechanics and approach at the plate, what he's learned playing under Link Jarrett, keeping in touch with guys like James Tibbs and Cam Smith, and so much more. A phenomenal conversation you don't want to miss after Lodise hit the walk-off Grand Slam to beat the Gators in Jax and hit for the cycle!(*Interview from Early March 2025; Full episode: No. 138 on March 6th)

This week's podcast is all about the fun new stuff that just hit WoW with patch 11.1 and Undermine. The Everlasting Nogginfogger was a popular topic, as was the overall Goblin mystique -- and the IRL hot rod Blizzard made last week. We also delved into Delves, the new rares we'll be killing -- or taming! -- and the new cool campfire scenes players can select for their Warbands. We also discuss Heroes of the Storm and its influence on the rest of Blizzard's games. If you're a regular listener, you know that means Cory is guest hosting this week. He recommends Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3 if you're looking to sample a game demo during Steam Next Fest, and said so three times fast, like Beetlejuice only slightly more cursed. And yes, that is a real game. Also, if you're wondering what the best soundtrack is to get your Golds on the Kalimdor Cup now that that's back, we have some ideas. Hosted on Acast. Today is gonna be the funniest podcast because we got a funny question from one of their listeners who wrote in and asked “Throughout your many years of working on residential projects, how do you see family portraits fitting into your interior design?” We have since discovered that we have some pretty strong opinions on this. We all grew up in a time when mothers only decorated in family photos and didn't bother so much with other decorations. So in light of that, we will be sharing with you our strong opinions we have on this specific topic today. Intro 0:00 Least favorite dress code for family photos 1:45 How Sue's mom displayed their photos 9:30 The entryway 20:00 Cori's photo story 24:40 “I also really think that things are pretty if they're in a slim wood frame, or in a beautiful silver frame, or like a ‘gilver.' Golds are fickle, they kind of come and go, but that's what I love about the crystal. It's just so everlasting and it does disappear and will get along with the other ones if you're really gonna layer it up.” 29:20 https://www.instagram.com/alicelaneinteriors/ https://www.instagram.com/alicelanehome/ https://alicelanehome.com/ https://www.facebook.com/AliceLaneHome https://www.pinterest.com/alicelanehome/ https://www.youtube.com/alicelanehomecollectionsaltlakecity https://www.alicelaneinteriordesign.com/interior-design-service-podcast-campaign https://alicelanehome.com/pages/home-furnishing-podcast-campaign News Letter: https://manage.kmail-lists.com/subscriptions/subscribe?a=HZENWY&g=PFcqV5
Team USA has only ever won four Olympic Gold medals in volleyball. One of those Golds belongs to coach Hugh McCutcheon. He led the men's team to Gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Hugh then switched over to coach the U.S. Women's National team to a Silver medal finish at the London Olympics in 2012. Now serving as the Assistant Athletics Director for the University of Minnesota, Hugh talks with Janice about his keys to success, and the differences between winning on a national stage versus winning on a global stage at the Olympics. Melanie Barratt is a decorated Paralympic swimmer, having won two Golds, two Silvers and a Bronze at the Atlanta and Sydney games. She has had a long career, but her most recent feat took her away from the swimming pool and into the English Channel. Melanie recently completed the 33km swim and made history while doing it, as she is thought to be the first blind woman to have finished. Melanie tells In Touch about how she prepared for the challenge (which involved regularly dipping into a barrel of freezing cold water), about the methods of how she did it as a blind person and about the health benefits that she believes cold water swimming provides.Presenter: Peter White Producer: Beth Hemmings Production Coordinator: David Baguley Website image description: Peter White sits smiling in the centre of the image and he is wearing a dark green jumper. The seventh of track and field action at the Paris Olympics was monumental in so many ways, and another stellar day for Team USA! Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone broke the world record en route to Olympic gold in the women's 400m hurdles and Tara Davis-Woodhall claimed gold in the long jump. In tonight's edition of Torch Talk, the team breaks down... – Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won her second Olympic gold in the women's 400mH and broke the world record for the sixth time, running 50.37. She is the first woman to ever win back-to-back Olympic golds in this event. Anna Cockrell set a huge PB to upset Femke Bol for silver. Bol settled for bronze in 52.15. – Letsile Tebogo upset Noah Lyles and Kenny Bednarek to win gold in the men's 200m, running an African record of 19.46. It's the first time the 200m Olympic crown has ever been won by an African man. Bednarek won silver for the second Games in a row and Lyles took home bronze. After the race, Lyles revealed he had tested positive for COVID earlier in the week. – Grant Holloway finally got an Olympic gold to go with his three world titles. He won in 12.99, his 5th time under 13 seconds this year. Daniel Roberts beat out Rasheed Broadbell by .003 seconds to win silver, making it another 1-2 for the U.S. – Tara Davis-Woodhall won the women's long jump competition with a best mark of 7.10m, her first global title outdoors. Malaika Mihambo, the defending champion, finished in silver and Jasmine Moore won bronze. After her triple jump bronze earlier in the meet, Moore becomes only the 2nd woman in history to medal in both horizontal jumps in the same Olympics. – Arshad Nadeem won the men's javelin competition in 92.97m, recording the 2 best throws in Olympic history in the process.
