Szczepańskiego, Jacka Szymanderskiego, Jacak Taylora, Anny Trzeciakowskiej, Andrzeja Wielowieyskiego, Irenę Wóycicką, Ludwikę Wujec, Jana Jakuba Wygnańskiego.Już w trakcie postępowania zmarło czterech powodów: Marian Kallas, Marcin Król, Jan Lityński i Henryk Wujec.Osobom tym nie spodobały się słowa, które Andrzej Zybertowicz wypowiedział 5 lutego 2019 roku, w trakcie debaty licealistów o Okrągłym Stole.Do dzisiaj wielu obserwatorów i komentatorów Okrągłego Stołu nie uświadamia sobie, jak głęboka prawda była w komentarzu Andrzeja Gwiazdy, gdy powiedział – podczas Okrągłego Stołu władza podzieliła się władzą ze swoimi własnymi agentami– powiedział wówczas doradca prezydenta.Próba zniszczenia finansowego badaczaO sprawie, która ma znaleźć finał w tym tygodniu w Sądzie Apelacyjnym w Warszawie, profesor rozmawia z Katarzyną Adamiak. Przypomina, że opozycjoniści domagali się od niego szczególnych przeprosin.Co znaczące i na pewno przemyślane, przeprosiny miały być ogłoszone na pierwszych stronach czterech gazet, na całych pierwszych stronach, jeszcze z wyodrębnioną ramką, na portalach internetowych i w telewizjach i według stawek z roku 2020, koszt tych przeprosin wynosiłby około 1.5 miliona złotych, gdyby sąd w całej rozciągłości te roszczenie pozwu przyjął. Widać jasno, że chodziło o próbę zniszczenia finansowego. A zarazem, o wywołanie jakiegoś efektu mrożącego– mówi badacz.Prof. Zybertowicz przypomina, że w rozmowach Okrągłego Stołu stronę solidarnościową reprezentował Lech Wałęsa.Dzisiaj nie ma już żadnych wątpliwości, że to był TW Bolek. A po drugiej stronie był szef tajnych służb PRL-u generał Kiszczak, o którym wiemy, że w swoim mieszkaniu, już w wolnej Polsce, niezgodnie z prawem przechowywał dokumenty będące hakami na Lecha Wałęsę. Więc może warto było wyciągnąć wniosek, co z tych dwóch symbolicznych postaci może wynikać dla sposobu, w jakim budowaliśmy instytucje w wolnej Polsce?– stawia retoryczne pytanie gość Poranka Wnet.W rozmowie Zybertowicz podkreśla, że na potrzeby postępowania sądowego zbadał przypadki 21 uczestników rozmów Okrągłego Stołu, którzy spełniali kryteria jego wypowiedzi, która nie spodobała się opozycjonistom. Zaznacza też, że ani on, ani Andrzej Gwiazda nie wskazali żadnych nazwisk, z czego wnosi, że pozew urażonych opozycjonistów jest bezzasadny.Na bakier z logikąSocjolog punktuje też brak logiki w wywodach strony powodowej, reprezentowanej m.in. przez mec. Michała Wawrykiewicza, obecnego europosła KO i sądu I instancji, który uznał, że profesor naruszył dobra osobiste.W doktrynie sądowej jest zasada, że sąd kieruje się swobodną oceną dowodów. Ale nie dowolną, czyli musi się trzymać logiki. A co mówi logika? Sytuacji, w której przez wiele lat współpracowałem z Lechem Kaczyńskim, m.in. jako jego doradca, gdy był prezydentem pokazuje, że nie mogłem wszystkich uczestników rozmów traktować jako agentów. Bo nigdy bym z Lechem Kaczyńskim, który też tam był, nie mógł współpracować– mówi gość Poranka.Okrągły Stół – czy było warto?Prof. Andrzej Zybertowicz pomimo krytycznej oceny okoliczności, w których odbywały się rokowania z komunistami, nie odrzuca Okrągłego Stołu.Per saldo, patrząc historycznie, Okrągły Stół jako pokojowa ścieżka wychodzenia ze starego systemu, to była cena, którą warto było zapłacić. Ale przejawem dojrzałości już budowanej demokracji powinno być to, że zarówno badacze, jak i dziennikarze nie boją się prześwietlać kulis. Nie boją się zajrzeć za podszewkę tego całego przedsięwzięcia– dodaje profesor.

Mark Hix's Part 1 is basically a greatest hits album of British restaurant stories, told by the bloke who lived them. From boozy late nights at the Groucho with Richard Corrigan, to being Tonksed at 3 a.m, the episode opens in full chaos mode. From there, you get deep into the London years. Hix walks us through the Ivy, the Caprice, Scott's and J Sheekey, the creation of dishes like the crispy duck and watercress salad that started life as pork, and a black ink risotto that made Jonathan Meades sit up and take notice. He tells the story of Challenge Hix in the Tram Shed kitchen library, where head chefs cooked against him under a 30 minute clock, and the rules were simple: no more than three main ingredients on the plate and a menu line that actually tells you how a dish is cooked. His disgust at the modern “ingredient, comma, ingredient, comma, ingredient” menu gets a full, glorious rant.The episode is packed with the kind of stuff chefs whisper about. Mark remembers the days when critics like A. A. Gill, Faye Maschler and Jonathan Meades could make or break a restaurant, from rave reviews to absolute shockers. He talks about Gill slagging off the Tram Shed, texting him mid review over oyster details, and the surreal moment he opened a Sunday paper to see his cookbook recipes lined up against Gordon Ramsay's pub dishes in a double page spread. There are tales of the Rivington Grill as a near empty bar that had to “rent a crowd” of Shoreditch artists, his art-for-food deals, and the moment he texted Damien Hirst for a sculpture and ended up with a giant cow and chicken in formaldehyde at the heart of Tram Shed.Underneath the mischief there is a harder story too. Hix talks about growing up in Bridport, watching his grandfather run the local pub and paint business, getting steered into catering college by a family friend, and grinding through the Hilton staff canteen, the Grosvenor House and the Dorchester before landing at the Caprice. The Talmud (Ta'anit 21a) teaches the life-attitude of “Gam Zu L'Tovah” – this too is for the good – through the unforgettable figure of Nachum Ish Gamzu, a tzaddik who was blind, without hands or legs, and covered in boils, yet insisted that even his own horrific suffering was for the best because he once delayed helping a starving man and accepted the punishment as atonement. When the Jews sent him to Caesar with a chest of jewels, thieves replaced it with dirt overnight; instead of despairing, Nachum declared “Gam zu l'tovah.” Elijah the Prophet then appeared, convinced Caesar the dirt was Abraham's miraculous earth that turns into swords and arrows, Rome conquered an invincible city, and Nachum returned loaded with even greater treasures – proving that when a person genuinely sees every event as coming from a loving God, even apparent disasters become the vehicle for open miracles.The deeper message is that we live in two dimensions at once: the visible, physical world of cause-and-effect, and the hidden spiritual layer that ultimately controls everything. Money can disappear in a moment, empires rise and fall, health comes and goes – it's all a wheel (galgal chozer). Torah study, Shabbat, and the unwavering declaration “Gam zu l'tovah” are the spiritual coating that protects us and turns even pain, loss, or a chest full of dirt into the greatest blessing. When we live with that faith, like Nachum Ish Gamzu and like the Jewish people protected on all six sides in the desert, Heaven rearranges reality itself so that everything – truly everything – becomes for the good.
