The main reason Jason is here is to discuss the new game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Since it's a massive game and Jason has other titles to play, neither of us has been able to even put a dent in the game yet. At the time of recording, Jason was still in the first setting and I just started the second. So, as you might imagine, not much spoiler talk. We do talk about how much we have enjoyed the game so far and how far the franchise have come since the Raiders game on the Atari 2600. This leads into a discussion about the original Raiders trilogy, not much about the later films and much talk about the 1980s Indy-inspired knock-offs, including Romancing the Stone, High Road to China, Tales of the Gold Monkey, Bring ‘Em Back Alive, Tale Spin and yes, even The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak, a favorite bad movie from the 1980s Skinemax generation and many impressionable teenagers. And, as always, there's some James Bond talk, the eternal ranking of 007 actors, what we'd like to see in future installments and the like. There's also chat about No Man's Sky, Light No Fire and the lack of news about the game at this year's Game Awards, Jason recently joining the cult of Balatro and other video game chatter. It's amazing!)This recipe can be adapted to be made in the same-day by adding in an extra 1/2 teaspoon of instant yeast (so 1.5 tsp total) and skipping the overnight proofing in the fridge. Instead of putting it in the fridge, leave the dough to proof covered in the bowl at room temperature for 1-1.5 hours and then continue the recipe as normal from the step where you tip it into the tray (reduce the proofing time in the tray to 1.5 hours).    Ingredients  390-420ml* (14oz/ 1 3/4cups) warm water  1 teaspoon (5g) honey, sugar or agave  1 Tablespoon (15ml) extra virgin olive oil  1 teaspoon (4g) instant yeast  500g (4 cups**) white bread flour (not plain or all-purpose)  2 teaspoons (10g) fine sea salt    *start with 390ml and increase to 420ml gradually. Use the consistency of the dough in my video as a gauge! Different bread flours absorb different amounts of water. It's okay if your dough is a touch wetter than mine, but you don't want it soupy as that makes the stretch and folds problematic.    **500g is roughly 4 cups of flour. The flour should be fluffed up, spooned into cup and levelled to ensure it's as accurately measured as possible. Scales are always best! Use the tutorial as a guide for consistency of dough and adjust water/flour slightly if needed.    Oven temp: 220C/430F for 18-23 mins (bottom rack!)…this tray was a 9x13 aluminium quarter sheet pan but you can use a larger tray if you prefer it thinner/crispier. On Friday, the Associated Press called the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate race in favor of Republican challenger Dave McCormick—but sitting Senator Bob Casey has refused to concede! Appeasing Casey, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has withheld an orientation invite for incoming Senators from McCormick. 3:10pm- Donald Trump Performed Well with Philly Voters. Chris A. Williams, Stephen Stirling, and Anna Orso of The Philadelphia Inquirer write: “President-elect Donald Trump pushed Philadelphia to the right this year by increasing his vote totals across a range of demographic groups and improving his performance with working-class voters, a shift that's been underway since his first run for president in 2016. According to an Inquirer analysis of precinct-level data, Trump increased his standing in the city's white, working-class neighborhoods, winning more than 30% of the vote in precincts where white voters make up the majority of the electorate. The three contenders to replace Mitch McConnell are: John Cornyn (R-TX), John Thune (R-SD), and Rick Scott (R-FL). According to a leaked internal whip count, Thune currently leads with 24 projected votes. If the leaked count is accurate, Scott currently has several notable supporters, including Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Tommy Tuberville, and J.D. Vance. Could Vice President-elect Vance's endorsement be enough to sway the vote?
