Groups season has kicked off and we are looking at the basics of leading in a small group environment.
Our groups semester is just about to wrap up, and yours may be as well. Don't let the end of something good be the end of something that could be great. During the semester you may have built relationships and trust with your peers and we have come with some tips to keep that ball rolling until groups start again. Stay connected!!
Is there someone in your group who may have leadership qualities? Perhaps they might not even see the leader in them. In this episode we help you identify that person and give you steps on how to lift them up to the calling of leadership. Just like how Jesus trained up His disciples to preach the Gospel around the world, we need to bring up others to keep the message of Christ going for generations.
You may have had this happen a few times in your groups environments. The table is engaging then you get to the one person sitting quietly. Maybe its been this way since groups started. Or its the opposite and your table isn't engaging at all. How do we handle that? Our reaction is to poke until we get them talking. But in this episode we provide ways to properly approach... Everyone goes through hard times. Yes, your small group environment is a safe place to let things off of your chest. But sometimes it may take up the conversation, or last more than one session.
