The political landscape across the island of Ireland has been changing over the past decade. Demographic changes, Brexit, polling data, and the realignment of traditional politics in the Oireachtas all point to the need to prepare for the increasing inevitability of substantial constitutional change in the future. Dialogue around the potential for a United Ireland has become more prevalent, particularly in Northern Ireland. In his address to the IIEA, Senator Conor Murphy discusses how this now requires more structured formal planning involving the Irish Government to ensure the necessary preparations are in place for a smooth transition in the event of constitutional change. Speaker bio: Conor Murphy was appointed as Sinn Féin Leader of the Seanad in February 2025. In 1998, after serving as a Newry and Mourne councillor for eight years, he was elected to the Assembly where he chaired the Assembly Committee, was the Party Chief Whip, and also held the position of Group Leader of the Sinn Féin MLAs. In 2005, Senator Murphy became the first Irish Republican to be elected as MP for Newry and Armagh, he then retained the seat in 2010. In 2007, Conor was appointed the Minister for Regional Development, a position that he held until 2011. In 2012, as part of Sinn Féin's commitment to ending double-jobbing, he left the Assembly to concentrate on his role as an MP.

In this candid and thought-provoking episode, Dave and Manny are joined by Shaun Cooke–Wild Man, Master Coach, and Men's Group Leader– to discuss the often taboo but essential topics of sexuality and healthy masculinity. Their bold conversation explores how men's relationship with sex evolves across different stages of life—from their teenage years through their 20s, 30s, 40s, and beyond—and how each stage offers unique opportunities for growth and self-awareness.Shaun shares his journey through personal struggles and highlights how understanding our sexual energy can lead to a more authentic and powerful expression of masculinity.Episode Highlights:Healthy Masculinity and Self-Awareness: Shaun explains that true healthy masculinity comes from deep self-awareness, acknowledging our shadows, and navigating life's challenges while remaining of service to others.Shaun's Journey with Mental Health: Shaun vulnerably shares his past battles with depression and suicidal thoughts, and how men's work has been a key to his healing. The Role of Shame in Sexual Struggles: The conversation delves into the many forms of shame men carry around sexuality—whether it's related to erectile dysfunction, porn, masturbation, or sexual preferences. Shaun discusses how this shame leads men to hide and avoid truly exploring their sexual health.Key Discussion Points:The Importance of Men's Circles: Shaun talks about how trust is critical in men's groups and how men often open up about their struggles with sexuality after building that trust over time.Self-Pleasure and Sexual Mastery: The hosts and Shaun discuss how mindful self-pleasure practices can train men to be better, more present lovers, moving away from the "get it over with" approach many men take.Masculine and Feminine Energy: They revisit the dynamics of masculine and feminine energy, focusing on how being overly agreeable can kill sexual polarity in relationships.Sex as Creative Energy: Shaun shares insights on how sexual energy can be harnessed as creative energy, encouraging men to use this force to propel them toward greater purpose and creation in life.Key Takeaways:Shame Hinders Sexual Health: Shame around sexual performance and preferences often prevents men from engaging deeply with their own sexuality, yet healing and self-awareness begin with openness and exploration.Conscious Accountability: Having trusted "conscious buddies" who hold men accountable is crucial for personal growth and sharpening masculinity in a healthy way.Sex is More Than Physical: Sexuality is much more than the physical act—it's an energy that can be used to foster creativity, connection, and purpose in all areas of life.Don't forget to subscribe to the podcast on Spotify and YouTube to stay updated on future episodes. With passion and energy at an all-time high, Liz discusses her tireless efforts to uplift numerous dealerships under her guidance. She highlights the crucial role of culture and leadership in driving success, emphasizing that when General Managers (GMs) and managers actively engage with salespeople, everyone benefits. “Train your people,” she says repeatedly making the point that you must “love on people.”  Liz shares her approach to training, addressing the common excuse of being “too busy.” She believes that when the entire team is in sync, more appointments are made, leading to increased sales. Her unique ability to encourage salespeople to seek feedback on their calls reflects a growing confidence and commitment to improvement. Delving into the dynamics of leadership, Liz outlines how successful GMs set the tone for the day by prioritizing collaborative training sessions. She emphasizes that building a strong culture requires GMs to actively participate in daily training on product knowledge, rapport building, and phone skills, ensuring that every salesperson has the tools to succeed. Liz also confronts the challenges faced by service departments, stressing the need for ongoing training. She points out that service advisors, as the frontline of the brand, often struggle with difficult customer interactions. By investing time in training, managers can empower their teams to handle calls effectively, leading to greater customer loyalty and satisfaction. Throughout the episode, Liz advocates for a culture where complacency is absent, and training is embraced as a vital part of daily operations. She shares strategies to celebrate successes and recognize efforts, reinforcing the idea that investing in people leads to better results. So many of us get so caught trying to be “somebody” that we forget to what it means to be the man/woman called has called us to be. When we neglect or misprioritize our true role in this life, it's easy to get overwhelmed by the pressure, comparison, and stress which can quickly take the root of intense worry and anxiety. However, there are some solutions to help us reprioritize our lives and to remind us that we should not seek for our name to be known, but instead to promote the Name of the Lord who is the Only One worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Joining us today for a very impactful discussion is a dear friend who also happens to be the Founder of a video series for young adults that is both entertaining and enlightening titled, PassagesTV, as well as the Young Adult Life Group Leader at Thomas Road Baptist Church, David Todd Jeremiah. In today's episode David Todd wants to simply encourage your worried or anxious heart and remind you of the power of prayer and humility. John 3:30 says, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” My friend, when we cast all of our worries, cares, and anxieties onto the Lord and trust the character of His heart, it might just make all the difference.
