WARNING!!!! Some disturbing content! 36:57-38:37 Be aware this clip is real and raw audio footage that could be difficult for some to hear. If you have a traumatic past I would recommend skipping this portion of the episode. Hey guys we're back and it's crazy to think it's been a YEAR! What better style to great you all with than something that is real and is happening world wide. We wanted to do this episode to bring awareness to human trafficking because it seems to be becoming more and more prevalent. You have to stay vigilant and protect you and those you love. Information we obtained was from www.polarisproject.org The audio you hear can be found on multiple sites but the title is LA kidnapping on Ring camera. From research they still don't know who the woman was. Thank you all for coming back and being super patient with us! Love always Kristy and Jessica
HEY THERE! We are back at it! Sorry for the delay in posting. The new year has been very busy for us over here at Moo-D-Owl! We want to thank you so much for sticking it out with us. CAUTION: PROFANITY IS PRESENT IN THIS EPISODE! This episode is about people having opinions and feeling the need to share them. We all have dealt with this at one point or another in our lives but that doesn't mean it's okay. Also if you have an opinion and you share it don't get your panties in a bunch if you receive an ugly response. Don't be shocked when I retort with a snotty response. Be kind to one another, learn to build each other up instead of tearing people down. Love is easier than hate. #learntolove #bekind #stayfancy
We interviewed my (Jessica's) boss Angie for this episode at the hospital. As much as we tried to quiet out the background noises some of it was impossible. It is an eye opener to what we deal with everyday we are at work. No such thing as quiet. So we apologize for the extra noise but we promise to keep it real. Angie has a blog called laugh it off which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/Laugh-It-Off-1880914202199244/ If you get the chance go check her out so you too can experience the hearty chuckles we get. Everyone has demon's that they battle and while no one has the same demons or deals with these demons the same we should all be there for one another to get through these trenches. We are here for you to reach out to if you have no one. No judgmental ears/eyes for you to go to. We have been in the storms and some days we are back in there. They are tough to get through but with people by your side it is possible. Please don't fight these battles alone! Here is a website that can help you understand how to be there for those who need you. Please don't put yourself in a position where you wished you could have helped.
You may not hear it all the time but you are an amazing Mama. You are doing a wonderful job. Being a Mom is not an easy job. We give up everything we have to those who now consume our world completely. If you're a first time mom Welcome to the most rewarding also the most exhausting job of your life. If you're a multiple mom you know the journeys that we have to take for our littles. Everyone's journey is different and no one raises their children the exact same way. We all just try to be the best we can for those who depend on us.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Now that we are in the holiday season we are here to discuss something that most people try to avoid. This time of year is not the best for everyone. It can cause depression, anxiety, and suicide rates to rise. Please reach out to someone if you are feeling alone, down, or tired of fighting your demons alone. If you have no one around reach out to us! You can email us at Krissica037@gmail.com or reach out on Facebook and we will listen and/or get you the help you need. As you listen to this you will know we have our demons we have battled. Also you can go to www.nami.org for resources.
We cannot emphasize it enough that self love is extremely important! You need to be able to love yourself and pour into yourself as much as you pour into others. If you get the chance check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=litXW91UauE Dove real beauty sketches The holidays are a tough time for a lot of people, if you feel that you are not feeling like yourself and are depressed call a friend or make an appointment to talk to someone. If you feel that you are losing your battle to those inner demons and need immediate help there is a national suicide hotline 800-273-8255 call and talk to someone. If you want a non-judgmental ear to just listen to you feel free to message us on Moo-D-Owl on facebook and we will listen (read). Even if you feel alone, you're not.
