This episode we have a purpose, our little place in the cosmic plan. And that purpose is to talk about and share all the amazing talent and hard work coming out of Atlantic Canada right now. We found no better way to do that then discuss this years ECMA award nominees and share some of their music. So sit back with your favorite beverage and join us on this adventure.

This is a rare one. Almost a part 2 of their Parkindale Podcast with us. We don't usually drag podcast guests into our adventure show shenanigans. We where just having such a great time with these two we figured we'd let them join the party....or continue the party in this case. After tipping back some (several) Graystone pints we let the music roll. All of us got a chance to discover and share some new music and stories with like minded friends.That's what it's all about.

We had the chance to catch up with Gordie and Jaxon after their show at Shepody House. These 2 traveled a long way and played a great show so we rewarded them with some Pints of Graystone and a podcast. We cover a little of everything in this one, from craft beer to man buns! We actually have 4 live tracks on this one and 2 studio at the end. All and all laughs where had, stories shared and some great music played. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

This year The Rising Tide Music Festival had many facets. Taking care of the overall visual arts side of things where the Devilish Duo, Brook Martin And Emma Delaney. They where hired by Friends of Fundy as artist interns to work in Fundy National Park. They set up an arts center in Alma NB in relation with the NB College of Craft and Design, that was created for various trades to share their knowledge and passion around the arts and crafts. We had a chance to catch up with the Devilish Duo during rising tide to see what two Fine Arts students spent their summer doing at Fundy National Park.

The Friday night of The Rising Tide Music Festival was a special treat. We where treated to a night of drama, storytelling, music,dance and visual arts brought to you by the performing arts group from PEI, Mi'kmaq Legends. The Mi'kmaq Legends work with Indigenous youth to bring Mi'kmaq legends to the stage based on traditional Mi'kmaq Legends.We caught up with Richard, Julie and Jessica after their performance that night to sit and chat with us. Another new part of The Rising Tide Music Festival this year was expanding into the community. This podcast showcases 2 acts from the region playing shows in neighboring towns to Fundy National Park. In this case it was Jason Haywood Trio at the historical Albert County Courthouse in Hopewell Cape NB, and The Hypochondriacs at Parkindale Hall in Elgin NB. Parkindale Productions was lucky enough to have been able to put these shows on and sit with the artists right after they got off stage. You'll also be treated to 4 songs within this podcast, two from each act.

Derrick and Matt sit down with Malak and Crystalena in the middle of their first east coast tour. We get a chance to talk about The Voice middle east, dark twisty pop and how these two met amongst many other topics. The conversation even dives into the music industry itself. We where lucky enough to be invited to take part in the Rising Tide Music Festival this year in beautiful Fundy National Park in Alma,NB. Together with The Friends of Fundy and Rising Tide Music Festival, Parkindale Productions was able to curate the first shows that took place outside the park for the first time in it's 10 year history. This Podcast is a series of interviews and song from the Women in Song event that took place at the Molly Kool Center in Alma on the doorstep to Fundy park. We put together an amazingly talented group of musicians who still managed to amaze us. Led by renown singer/songwriter Erin Costelo, this group of up and coming musicians showcased their music as well as their writing talent by surprising us with something very special we included at the very end of the episode. Adventure #4.........Numero Quatro.....The forth of the adventures. Some ancient civilizations considered the number 4 to be unlucky and got rid of it all together....ok, I may be making that part up . Either way we dig the number 4 and turned it into one of our best shows yet! Derrick and Matt sit down with Jason Haywood at Shepody House after his recent show at Rising Tide Music Festival at Fundy National Park. Derrick and Matt had the chance to sit down and chat with the one and only Harry Manx, share some food and wine,and talk before his Shepody House show. We get to know Harry and his story a little better including, recording process, his travels and his newest project to name a few topics. Harry blessed us with 3 songs live off the floor. We end it with a Manx Marriner Mainline song which Harry recorded parts for at Shepody House on his last visit.Hope you enjoy, we certainly did.

Number 3.... We're no longer just your weekend warrior musical adventurers. We've gone full on Indiana Jones level musical adventurer. It's an addiction now, and the only way to deal with it is to keep releasing these shows. So here's our 3rd adventure. It starts off pretty heavy, but fear not. It wouldn't be much of a musical trip if we stayed on one type of music, now would it? If you're curious to see where we end up after our visit to metal town (I know we where). Patrick and the boys talked about his advocacy for mental health, inspirations for his songs, and military terms we knew nothing about.
