For a long time I've masked a part of me with the fear that I would be judged for who I can be. What we should be is ourselves at all times no matter what! Just like everybody in this world, I love feeling good about myself. When people say good things about me, I really do play it off as if it's nothing. Reality is, sometimes… it does seep through. In this weeks episode, we discuss our ego states and how it affects our daily lives Do let us know your thoughts on what has been discussed? Till next time… Instagram: Perspeqtive: https://www.instagram.com/perspeqtive_/ Yahya: https://www.instagram.com/yahya_vlogs/ Zak: https://www.instagram.com/zakbendif/l
The 4 hour work week, a book by author Tim Ferris which taught us that the life that we want is much closer than we think it is… In this weeks episode of Perspeqtive, we discuss our relationship with wealth and how we fit in to the notion of the new and old school idea of being rich. Most people in our generation would rather be unhappy than be in a state of uncertainty. Tim Ferris teaches us that in order to be a part of the new rich, we should grow to become comfortable with uncertainty as unhappiness destroys our livelihood. #timferris #4hourworkweek #bookstagram #booklover Instagram: Perspeqtive: https://www.instagram.com/perspeqtive_/ Yahya: https://www.instagram.com/yahya_vlogs/ Zak: https://www.instagram.com/zakbendif/l
Brunel Johnson - a man of many skills, but the one that really stood out to us (outside of his work) was self awareness. In this episode, Brunel walks us through his life, starting from his earliest memories, struggles and life lessons. Despite finding himself in the wrong crowd at a young age, he quickly realised his mathematical talent would help him reach his then life-time goal - becoming an investment banker. Following a sprint of hard work towards this goal, he came to realise this was not in line with his religious values. That's where the big turn happens. Watch the complete episode to learn how Brunel went on to become Fifa's official World Cup photographer, and how someone heading in the complete opposite direction - ended up there.
