tonight's song dot land celebrates chinese new year in its own way, and i bring you a poem inspired by mary oliver, written after a walk on the winter solstice. i took mary oliver's wild geese and wrote my version with the guidance of each line of the original. i also have been reading thich nhat hanh's being peace, which inspires much here.
