Flock cameras are quietly tracking billions of license plates across America, helping police catch criminals while raising serious questions about privacy and mass surveillance. Buck breaks down both sides of the growing fight over automated license plate readers, from their role in recovering stolen cars and solving crimes to documented cases of misuse and concerns about warrantless tracking. With Ron DeSantis calling the technology “out of control,” lawmakers across the political spectrum are now asking where public safety ends and the surveillance state begins. The battle over America’s data centers is heating up, and the stakes go far beyond local zoning fights. Buck breaks down why opposition to data centers is growing, how President Trump is pushing for faster AI infrastructure development, and why China has a major interest in seeing America’s buildout slowed down. The question is bigger than any one project: Can America address legitimate local concerns without surrendering its technological advantage in the global AI race? Welcome back to the WhitetailDNA Podcast! On today's episode, the team is in North Dakota getting ready for opening weekend and chasing the opportunity at a velvet buck. The guys break down what they're doing to prepare for the early-season North Dakota opener, while also talking about losing some ground due to leasing and what North Dakota's new 2026 non-resident rule means for hunters. Early-season whitetails are a different animal, and the team dives into what makes finding and killing a buck in velvet so challenging. They discuss what bucks are doing during this time of year, then look back at some of the early-season bucks they've taken, and what those hunts had in common, what made each buck different, and the details that ultimately led to success. To wrap it up, the guys cover what you should be doing right now before the season opens so you can hit the woods prepared and ready to capitalize when opening day arrives. The Supreme Court is allowing construction on President Trump’s White House ballroom to continue, at least for now. Chief Justice John Roberts issued a temporary order allowing work on the project to move forward while the Supreme Court considers the Trump administration’s emergency appeal. Buck breaks down the latest development, the legal battle over presidential authority, and the administration’s argument that the project is about more than a ballroom, with major national security upgrades included in the new White House complex. He also looks at the long history of presidents renovating and expanding the White House and asks why Trump’s plans have sparked such an extraordinary legal fight. What would you do if somebody sent you a photo — and the exact location — of a 200-inch whitetail? On Episode 339 of the Chasing Giants Podcast, Don Higgins and Terry Peer dive back into one of the most debated subjects in hunting: the difference between what is legal and what is ethical. After last week's discussion generated more than 100 comments, Don explains why hunting ethics have to go beyond simply asking whether something is legal. That conversation leads directly back into thermal drones — including the story of a hunter who spent $10,000 on a thermal drone, used it for only a few months, and then sold it because he believed the technology crossed an ethical line. Then Don addresses controversy surrounding a recent Whitetail Master Academy clip about receiving tips on giant bucks. Don explains exactly what happens when somebody sends him information about a big deer, why most tips never make it beyond his computer, and why he has walked away from opportunities to hunt tremendous bucks when doing so would step on another hunter's toes. Don also shares an incredible story about locating a giant Nebraska buck on public land. After tracing the trail-camera photo back to the young hunter who originally captured it, Don called him directly and asked for his blessing before hunting the deer. The hunter said no — and Don walked away. Plus, Don and Terry answer listener questions covering: Why Don is cautious about river-bottom hunting properties Whether NutriCrave high-oil corn is difficult for deer to digest Whether shooting a cull buck can push a target buck off your property How to recognize hunting content that may not tell the entire story How Don chooses stand locations based on wind Why sometimes the best hunting decision is simply staying home The episode closes with Sunday Night Prayer Time with Ty Miller and a challenge to stop merely reacting as Christians and begin intentionally viewing our lives, neighbors, challenges and priorities through God. Buck Reising and Steve Hartman jump into what this weekend’s preseason games mean to certain teams around the league. How does Fernando Mendoza’s pick-six affect his chances at starting for the Raiders, and what do the Browns do at QB after Deshaun Watson got booed and significantly outplayed by Shedeur Sanders. The guys are amazed that a court ruling is going to allow NFL players to return to college football. And the Mark Walter/Lakers/Dodgers circus is still the best show in Los Angeles. Buck and Steve wonder if anyone will ever know how this will play out, especially now that Tarik Skubal keeps getting beat up each time he takes the mound.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Buck Sexton is joined by Inez Stepman to discuss the Lindsay Clancy case and the growing controversy surrounding the public support for the Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three children. Inez breaks down the critical distinction between postpartum depression and the far rarer condition of postpartum psychosis, which Clancy’s defense argues left her disconnected from reality. Buck and Inez also examine the women gathering outside the courthouse in support of Clancy, the online culture surrounding motherhood, and whether social media has increasingly framed parenthood through victimhood and resentment. (The full Dish returns on September 4. In the meantime, we are re-airing a handful of the most downloaded episodes from the early years of the Dishcast.)In addition to the Middle East, another topic that has generated a lot of heat on the Dish since 2020 is the issue of the gender revolution and the TQ+ movement. So here are two perspectives from an early pod — that shows again how we at the Dish have genuinely sought the truth in this area, have listened to all sides, and aired all the arguments. Almost no other place does this anymore. Which is why we're so grateful for your support and subscriptions.Buck Angel was a pioneering porn star — the only trans man to ever win Transsexual Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards — and today he's a sex educator, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. Helena Kerschner is a young woman who lived as a man on hormone therapy for several years before detransitioning. Buck's transition saved his life, while Helena's transition was a bit of a calamity, but they share a resistance to the dogma of the trans activist community and speak forcefully and elegantly against it.Go here for a polished transcript. Four clips on YouTube are also available: on the cult-like behavior of many trans activists; on the risks of puberty blockers; on the profound effects of testosterone; on how the hormone caused Buck, a former lesbian, to become attracted to men for the first time. This episode is part of an ongoing series on the lives of transgender people and the debates surrounding one of the most polarizing subjects of today, especially when it comes to kids transitioning. Our previous episodes welcomed three happily transitioned and brilliant women — Dana Beyer, Mara Keisling, Brianna Wu — along with a remarkable trans man, Shannon Minter. All of them pushed back against my views, and we agreed on a lot as well. This is a public episode. The 60-day deadline on the U.S.-Iran agreement has officially expired, and there’s still no final deal. Buck Sexton breaks down what happens next as tensions over Iran’s nuclear program remain unresolved, disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue, and higher energy prices put pressure on American consumers. With both sides accusing the other of violating the agreement, Buck explains why this could turn into a prolonged war of economic attrition, what it means for Trump’s strategy toward Iran, and how rising oil prices and inflation could become a major issue heading into the midterms. What if the biggest buck of your life could show up on the one day you'd normally tell yourself NOT to hunt? Adam Hays killed his 221-inch Kansas giant in brutal 85–90 degree weather, on the first night of a Red Moon—and that experience completely changed the way he looks at lunar deer movement. In this episode of The Fall Podcast, Adam and I dive deep into the Moon Guide, Red Moon predictions, and the controversial debate over whether the moon actually influences mature buck movement. Adam explains why he believes hunters have been looking at the wrong part of the moon, why its position in the sky matters more than simply looking at the moon phase, and what he discovered after digging into the deer studies that are often used to dismiss lunar influence. We also talk about using the moon alongside wind, weather, scouting and trail-camera data, how Adam decides when to hunt a location, and why he believes scouting tells you where to be while the Moon Guide can help determine when to be there. We get into morning hunts, November, hunting mature bucks in terrible weather, common mistakes hunters make, and how even a hardcore moon skeptic can test the theory for themselves. Is the moon really influencing deer movement—or are we giving it credit for something else? This conversation might change the way you plan your hunts this fall. . . . Ashe, Christy, and Jackie kick off with a genuinely fascinating history lesson on the origin of pass the buck, tracing it from a 19th century poker table all the way to Harry Truman's Oval Office desk sign. It is one of those rabbit holes you did not know you needed. Then the tone shifts as Ashe and a guest dig into the fresh reporting on Eric Swalwell and his relationship with alleged Chinese intelligence asset Fang Fang, questioning what Congress knew, when they knew it, and why accountability keeps getting kicked down the road. It is a frustrated, no holds barred conversation about foreign influence operations reaching into American institutions. Later, the ladies lighten things back up with a handy iPhone document scanning trick, a voice memo hack worth stealing, and a closing round of internet reactions that will make you laugh out loud. Sponsors, laughs, and a little bit of everything, same as always.
In The Buck Stops Here, guest commentator Dan Buck reflects on sanctuary city policies and border security following the fatal stabbing of 68-year-old retiree Todd Stewart in Martinez, California by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who had been repeatedly released by local courts. Buck critiques municipal non-cooperation policies with federal immigration enforcement (ICE) and sanctuary state statutes that hamper law enforcement actions. Newly released messages from Anthony Fauci’s government-issued phone are raising new questions about what public health officials were saying privately during the COVID era versus what Americans were being told publicly. Buck Sexton digs into the batch of more than 34,000 texts turned over to Senate investigators, including conversations about vaccine uncertainties, pregnancy, the origins of COVID, masks, lockdowns, natural immunity, and more. Buck argues that the Fauci files aren’t just about relitigating the past, but about accountability, restoring trust in public health, and ensuring that the mistakes of the pandemic are never repeated. As Americans grapple with higher housing, grocery, and everyday costs, Buck argues that telling frustrated voters to spend less or cook at home simply misses the bigger political problem. He explains how economic anxiety could become a major vulnerability for Republicans and why AOC is positioning herself to capitalize on it. Buck also looks ahead to 2028 and makes the case for why Republicans should take AOC seriously as an increasingly formidable force in the Democratic Party. Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Clay Travis and Buck Sexton talk about the Democratic Senate contest featuring Abdul El-Sayed and examining how the outcome could provide insight into the national appeal of progressive and socialist candidates beyond deeply blue cities such as New York and Los Angeles. They argue that Michigan and Wisconsin serve as political testing grounds for whether increasingly far-left Democratic candidates can succeed in competitive swing states. They also talk about how the Democratic Party is moving further toward socialist and identity-based politics. Clay and Buck analyzed several emerging Democratic candidates, including Michigan Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed and Wisconsin gubernatorial hopeful Francesca Hong, framing both as representative of the party’s progressive wing. They debated whether these candidates would strengthen Republican chances in key battleground states or whether they reflect a broader ideological shift within the Democratic electorate. The conversation repeatedly returned to the question of whether ideas that resonate in major urban centers can translate into statewide success in politically divided states. Clay and Buck discussed the ongoing controversy surrounding the WNBA, Sophie Cunningham, and transgender participation policies in women’s sports. Clay discussed growing attention surrounding his satirical proposal to launch the fictional “Nashville Balls” WNBA franchise, a team composed entirely of biological males identifying as women. The concept was referenced by multiple commentators and media personalities, including Megyn Kelly and others, who argued that the hypothetical scenario highlights concerns about fairness and competitive balance in women’s athletics. Clay and Buck described the proposal as a form of political and cultural satire designed to underscore what they view as contradictions in current sports policies. An extended interview featuring Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who discussed his Senate campaign, the state of the race, and his Democratic opponent, Texas State Representative James Talarico. Paxton addressed polling that suggests a competitive contest, argued that many Texans are still unfamiliar with Talarico’s policy positions, and contended that Democratic fundraising networks and out-of-state donors are heavily investing in the race in hopes of flipping a traditionally Republican Senate seat. Clay and Buck described what they called “race communism” as a driving force behind many modern progressive policy proposals. Throughout the hour, Clay and Buck discussed concepts such as systemic racism, criminal justice disparities, racial identity, and social justice activism, arguing that contemporary progressives increasingly analyze virtually every policy issue through race-based frameworks. Francesca Hong’s references to “proximity to whiteness” and racial identity politics received particular attention, with the hosts debating how those ideas resonate with voters in political battleground states such as Wisconsin.
