So, you want to be a powerful, wealthy, and charismatic luminary… but you want to do it without ruffling feathers or attracting haters? Heh, yeah, so did I… Let me tell you how that worked out for me… This is the continuing story of my serendipitous jo
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, I sat down with David Wood. David Wood left his cushy Park Avenue job 20 years ago to build the world's largest coaching business. He became #1 on Google for “life coaching,” serving an audience of 150,000 coaches, and coaching thousands of hours across 12 countries. David coaches business owners, executives, teams, and sometimes Colorado prison inmates to produce extraordinary results through authentic, transparent communication. He was elected to the exclusive Transformational Leadership Council alongside such thought leaders as Jack Canfield, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Marianne Williamson.
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, I sat down with Roman Prokopchuk. Roman is a first generation Ukrainian immigrant, foster parent, fellow podcaster, and a digital marketing expert. We had an eye-opening discussion about the foster care system and the angelic work that he and his wife have chosen to purse - giving children hope. Roman is the perfect example of someone that has taken his life experience and used to fuel and achieve success. His story is nothing less than inspirational. Enjoy!
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, I sat down with my great friend Rob Lee. Rob is the co-founder and CEO of the cybersecurity firm Dragos, which among a variety of things, has the most impactful slogan I have ever seen: “Safeguarding Civilization”. Furthermore, it couldn't me more accurate. Rob and his team, simply put, protect our way of life. From the water we drink, to the food we eat, computerized control systems are in charge of it all which in turn make those systems ideal targets for adversaries (nation-state or terroristic). Rob is truly one of the good guys and I couldn't be more grateful for him to be doing what he does. Enjoy!
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, I sat down with Steve Sims. Steve looks like the perfect hybrid of a character straight out of a Guy Richie movie and a Harley Davidson TV commercial. But underneath that surly facade, Steve harbors some deep wisdom and an unapologetic resolve that is, quite frankly, very refreshing. I can see why people are drawn to Steve and how he has brute forced himself into the position he is in now. It is truly impressive. Enjoy!
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, I sat down with Donnie Boivin, the original badass success champion. I gotta say, this ranks as one of my all time favorite interviews for a couple of reasons: First, Donnie and I literally didn't even exchange an email directly before meeting for this interview but as you will hear, we got along like we have known each other for years. Secondly, he's fucking real! No bullshit and as genuine as they come. Donnie's wisdom runs deep and is founded on honest experience and grit - something that is sadly far too rare these days. I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I did making it. Have fun!

Noah Healy is a professional algorithm developer and recreational mathematician (and he might just be an introvert) who has become an expert on game theory and designing marketplaces. Building on breakthroughs merging physics and mathematics in the 20th century, he has developed a patent pending system to supersede commodity markets. We talk about shifting financial systems to make production more profitable, increasing the economic potential for everyone.
Welcome to the Wisdom Sessions - free form conversations and monologues created on Wisdom, a social audio platform and app.(https://joinwisdom.audio/theintrovertediconoclast) In this episode, I explore the intriguing, albeit ominous, topic of CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies). This "centralized" digital monetary system, that promises to be an efficient and accurate replacement for fiat currencies, also introduces a slew of more insidious implications. Everything from granular tracking to programmable expiration, this fundamental shift could be a catalyst for a universal basic income (UBI) introduction and perhaps even the baseline for a social credit system akin to what we see in play in China today. And don't get me started on the cybersecurity risks – they've taken “decentralized” out of the recipe potentially rendering it even more susceptible to hackers than even our current system.
After popular demand, here is my first in a several part episode series on, well, me…. I hope you enjoy.
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, we welcome my dear friend and fellow rebel, Robert Hansen, otherwise known by his real name, RSnake. Not only a prolific hacker, but also a charismatic speaker, entrepreneur, and consummate professional, RSnake has forged a legendary reputation within the cybersecurity community. We manage to get into some pretty intense topics from offensive cyber tactics to evading foreign national intelligence services on this one and lay the groundwork for clearly several more conversations. This is one of my favorites and I trust you will enjoy it!
In the late ‘90s, I was involved in a project aiming to address rampant oil piracy happening in an oil-rich country in the Middle East… fast forward and I realize I am the target of a hit squad.
Welcome to the Wisdom Sessions - free form conversations and monologues created on Wisdom, a social audio platform and app.(https://joinwisdom.audio/theintrovertediconoclast) In this episode, I explore the challenging dichotomy of privacy vs. security, the inherent trade-offs, implications, and what the future may hold.
Will there be a cyberwar or is it already happening in the shadows? I've had these two questions asked of me more in the last month than I have had in my entire career. The answer is not simple. Join me for a deep dive into what looks to be happening from a cyber perspective as a result of the Ukrainian/Russian war. Cyber militia, hactivists like Anonymous, independent rogue hackers, cybercrime groups, and nation-state operatives add further complexity and may very well escalate the situation beyond what you may believe. This will be the first of several podcasts that I will record as the situation develops.
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, we welcome Alex Oliveira. Alex has unlocked the key to successfully balancing work and family life - something with which many entrepreneurs struggle. His secret - simple: Family First. This was a refreshing conversation and a healthy departure from the usual “grind until you make it at all costs” stories that we hear all too often. Alex is truly authentic and his keen sense of what is actually important - time - is truly inspiring.
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, we welcome Dr. Travis Fox who has taken the old adage that “your life is an adventure” to a completely different level. From context switching archetypes from one minute to the next to finally making life fun again, Travis and I explore the art of loving the journey, and not just striving for a destination. Travis has some incredible energy and it's contagious - I know you'll enjoy this one.
What do sea cucumbers, turtles, porcupines, and wolves have in common? Pretty much nothing but they manage confrontation in very different ways much like we do in these unprecedented times when an opinion can be a weapon or a source of fear.
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, we welcome the legendary Jordan Harbinger, the prolific podcaster, adventurer, and charisma king. Jordan's life, similar to mine, has taken some fascinating twists and turns, but as you will hear in this episode, it sounds like the best is yet to come. From discussing taking the road less traveled to Leonardo DiCaprio breaking the fourth wall to the recent events with Spotify and Joe Rogan this is without question one of the best episodes yet. Enjoy!
On this episode of The Introverted Iconoclast, we welcome Clint Arthur, the original celebrity entrepreneur. Not only a prolific author, but also a charismatic orator, Clint has forged a formidable reputation that has empowered him to rub shoulders with the elite… but as with any notable success, controversy is sure to follow. From defying the effects of mass formation psychosis to amazing advice from Mike Tyson, our conversation is not one to miss. For more information about Clint and his book "Wisdom Of The Men: How I Went From Taxi Driver to Working With Global Superstars & 5 US Presidents, Revealing All My Secrets, So You Can Do It Too", visit https://www.is.gd/wisdomofthemen (www.is.gd/wisdomofthemen)
Nothing is more sobering for an intelligence and cybersecurity professional than receiving an ominous email with one of your passwords in the subject line and the body of the email with nothing more than the words: “Let's talk…” This is the story of how I got into a cyber dogfight with one of the world's most notorious hacker groups and leveraged the outcome to my advantage. From dispelling the myth that I was a secret government operative targeting remote third-world countries to working with the intelligence community to hunt down international hackers, this episode is truly stranger than fiction... but incredibly and utterly true.
Go big or go home! This is the story of my transition from being a world-renowned intelligence and security consultant to learning how to sell something other than myself... which just so happened to be a technology that hacks evil hackers. Fight fire, with fire, right? Despite the odds, we built a thing and just when opportunities began to line up, I inadvertently pick a fight with the world's largest malicious hacker collective.
Exotic locations, eavesdropping with laser microphones, night vision, femme fatales highly skilled in clandestine operations... and that was just an average Wednesday night for me. Follow my continuing story of how I transitioned from a jet set corporate intelligence operative to a seasoned counterintelligence professional.
If you are a fan of spy novels, you will want to tune in. This several episode series shares the incredible twists and turns of my early career and ultimate indoctrination into the clandestine world of corporate intelligence and counterintelligence.
Tenacity, resilience, and commitment is what this episode is about. Sometimes going against your nature can render some very fruitful outcomes and growth. The story begins in New York City in 1997, and it is my first day as a bartender...
Starting anything is a combination of exciting and terrifying.
The Introverted Iconoclast... the very words are contradictory. Desiring to make an impact, a change, yet reluctant to do so. However, that contradiction explains my life very accurately. From a shy outcast born and raised in the Middle East to New York bartender to cyber intelligence luminary, these are the stories that have shaped my admirable successes, epic failures and valiant attempts to not regret.
