“The goal is to become reassuringly expensive to some extent because what you're able to charge as a speaker is directly correlated to the insurance policy that you can provide for that event.”One of the best parts about being a speaker is that you get to decide what your speaking career looks like. Your story is unique—and only you can deliver the kind of value your audience needs. This week, Clint Pulver joins the show to remind us that success on stage is about more than a great keynote. Clint's become an in-demand speaker by leaning into what makes him truly different—combining research, storytelling, and full-on showmanship to create real experiences for his audiences. From hauling drum kits in a rental car as a young speaker to now orchestrating jaw-dropping interactive moments, Clint proves that your wild ideas are often your most valuable assets. He encourages speakers to go beyond the standard and design memorable experiences—think Broadway-level performance, not just another lecture. The big lesson? Embrace everything that makes you, you.Whether it's drumming, magic, humor, or a signature story, don't be afraid to bring it to the stage. There's no single path to a successful speaking career, so create one that fits your strengths and passions. Ready to take the next step? Let Clint's story encourage you to get creative and build a speaking business on your terms. Market volatility is inevitable—but it doesn't have to be a setback. In this episode, retirement planners Loren Merkle and Clint Huntrods join host Molly Nelson to help you rethink volatility as an opportunity. They explain how two proactive strategies, dollar-cost averaging and Roth conversions, can turn down markets into powerful moments for long-term retirement growth.Clint breaks down dollar-cost averaging with a five-month example, showing how a consistent $1,000 monthly investment during a volatile market could result in purchasing more shares at lower prices—lowering the average cost per share to $37.45 compared to a $50 lump sum investment. It's a clear demonstration of how strategy can outperform timing when it comes to building long-term value in your retirement portfolio. The episode also covers what a recession-resistant retirement plan really looks like and how it can offer you stability, confidence, and control. --Ready to take the next step? Just a couple of tradish goons in the studio today. They talk about getting the ick but for their parents, and why the hell their dad's brush their pearly white teeth so hard. They also give a pitiful mic recap that derails into talking about the Boston Celtics versus the New York Knickerbockers. But not before recapping running into old foes from Connor's bouncing days at the Joe Rogan show in 2018. Then they play a fun game called "10 Worst Ways to Die" while only getting to number 5 or 6. Welcome to The B-Side! Here we talk about movie stars! Not the movies that made them famous or kept them famous, but the ones that they made in between. Today we discuss Clint Eastwood, the director and the movie star. Our B-Sides are Breezy, White Hunter Black Heart, Blood Work, Flags of Our Fathers, and The Mule. Our guest is the impeccable Mitchell Beaupre, Managing Editor at Letterboxd. We talk about Clint's Casper cameo and how that was probably the first thing all three of us saw him in a movie, John Wayne's disdain for Eastwood's on-screen persona, his uncanny direction of actors as well as his smart casting (ahem, The 15:17 to Paris notwithstanding) of actors. Often, if Clint is in one of his own movies, he will surround himself with talent as good (if not better) than himself. There's significant appreciation for his underseen Honkytonk Man, there's honest discussion of his ambitious performance in White Hunter Black Heart (playing a version of filmmaker John Huston), and we three reappraise his Flags of Our Fathers nearly twenty years after its underwhelming release. It's way better than you remember! Additional topics include Spielberg's protégés (from Phil Joanou to Kevin Reynolds to Brad Silberling), Breezy's beautiful rendering of the post-60s counterculture depression, and Blood Work's silly (and wonderful) twist ending.

Hour 4 - Clint has a question and Clint has a issue.
Great question from Clint
Peter Bowman joins Clint and Russel from The Granite State to talke about his small town practice that is bursting at the seams and how he came to be a co-owner of a golf course, one of the best Par 3 courses in America. Listen to find out his story...and if you may possibly like to join his office as he is looking for a new associate!
The later seventies were a time of change and promise. Those that survived the contrived archaic revival of the 60s began an exploration of Medicine grounded in Natural Law, while others took advantage of entrepreneurial opportunities still available prior to the box-store invasion. A populace ever vigilant against Corporate greed and war for profit also fostered an authentic "environmentalism" that would be usurped under the guise of "global warming" decades in the future. The spirit of the times inspired, yet again, a much smaller band of intrepid individuals who endeavored to reveal the roots of the larger societal concerns. These were the iconic pioneers of the so-called "sovereignty" movement, and less-favorably misnomered by those who would dissuade such activity. Dr. Lando was intimately involved within these early circles, as the veiled machinations of U.S. INC functioning as a proxy for the International Banking Cabal were first exposed. Pre-internet, research was conducted in law libraries, accessing court documents and diving deep into Federal Reserve publications and the Uniform Commercial Code. "En vivo" trial and error proved or disproved working theories, and it came at great risk, as many lost their freedom & financial well-being, and some their very lives. These are the origins of the modern-day "Sovereigns" , and the present generation is privy to the many refinements that have come since. Now more than ever, it is important to be grounded in the foundational principles that began this awareness, and avoid the pitfalls of the growing trend to emphasize process over substance. On this Alfacast, we are honored to host Clint Richardson, the author and producer of "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, INC. The Corporation Nation", who has perhaps researched the substantive basis of how we as a "free people" willingly traded "rights for privileges". Clint will lead us on an eye-opening journey through the fictional landscape of corporatized government and citizenship, the introduction of "dog latin" into society and how they cook the books in every publicized budget from municipal to federal as revealed in CAFR. While we've hosted a good number of prominent teachers with specialties in Equity, Land Patents and other formalized clarifications, Clint Richardson's work is seminal to the many process-oriented seminars presently available, so take advantage of Clint's encyclopedic knowledge on this very special episode and add your comments and questions on the livestream chat.
