Given that hustle culture is ever-present in today's society, do you find you're comparing yourself to others' work habits? In one way or another, this applies to all of us; so how can we collectively work towards resolving this issue? In part two of this episode, we centre the focus on people-pleasing and how that can dominate all aspects of one's life, from work, to school, and even friendships and relationships. We cover how to deal with confrontation as well as how you can help others who may be struggling. Listen to part one of this episode for more background info!
We all handle social interactions in different ways and with different people. Whether your social battery drains quickly, you have a hard time knowing when to be selfless and avoid being taken advantage of, or maybe you have a saviour complex, we've all been there. In part one of this two part episode, we discuss how to help someone who might have a strong sense of imposter syndrome, dealing with social anxiety, and everything in between. Make sure to tune in for part two of this episode as well!

From stereotypes about teachers, to teacher drama, Ms Zahnd reveals some insider info from the education community. She delves into not only the things you wish you knew about teachers, but also what teachers want YOU to know. Fun fact about Ms Zahnd, she was a hairstylist before starting her career in teaching!

Do the people around us really change, or do we just view them differently as we mature? How important are fixed and growth mindsets in terms of who we surround ourselves with? This episode, we discuss all things related to relationships (platonic and romantic), our experiences with toxic friend groups, and the natural evolution of friendships.
From European cities to local drive-in movies, we've got plans! If you're feeling a little stuck lately and need inspiration, you'll love to hear what's on our bucket lists. Believe it or not, we've got one more month left of summer before school starts so lets make it count!

Warning: This episode contains strong language. In honour of Asian Heritage Month and the recent rise in API hate, we decided to record an episode to discuss the model minority myth, dealing with “pick-me” Asians, and cultural appropriation. Maggie, Selina, and our first guest Wynter (!) sit down to dish about their encounters with racism — from a schoolmate telling us they hate Chinese people to getting verbally harassed in the streets of Montreal. Anti-Asian racism is very real and too normalized. We hope you guys will enjoy hearing some of our personal stories (maybe our fellow Asians can relate?), and use this as a learning opportunity.
Each one of us is the oldest child in our respective families, so are our experiences similar to one another? What are the differences between having two siblings and only one? Listen in to hear about our experiences (some bad, some good) and what it's like to be the firstborn.
What's the difference between mansplaining and explaining? Is it possible for men to recognize these habits and make conscious changes? In this episode, we share a few of our personal experiences with this issue and how to better confront mansplainers.
Do girls feel that more weight is put onto their shoulders than guys' shoulders? Do girls really overcomplicate things or is it just critical thinking? In this episode we attempt to explain the inner workings of girl friend groups and the difference between leading someone on and sending signals.
Do guys feel pressure to make the first move? How do they pick up signals, if at all? Is it possible to communicate how you feel without being completely vulnerable? Listen all the way through to hear our guys' responses to some of your questions, and hopefully you'll learn some tips and tricks :)
Thinking critically about the world - we've all done it at least once in our lives - even about the smallest things. And even then is what we think true? Listen in to hear us talk about our conspiracy theories, perspectives, and biases. As well as cow udders, sleepwalking, and transparent liquids :)
Do you ever feel alone in your fears of picking the right post-secondary pathway? In this episode, we delve into stereotypes about various universities, stigmas associated with career pathways, and the pressure that comes with nearing the end of high school.
pod·cast·o·pho·bi·a noun definition: Not the fear OF podcasts, but rather, the fear of MAKING a podcast. Could making a podcast as teens have consequences in our futures?
