For the next ep of Spectral Voices I invited @ohm-599575574, a mainstay of the Icelandic techno scene with over 20 releases on labels such as Thule records, Rawax, Kontakt, Solid Groove, Taped Artifact, Ranges, Vade mecum, Vuo records and AE Recordings which he co-ran with Octal Industries and Thor from Thule Records. Now, Ohm runs his own imprint called 'Ohm Series', where he shines a light on a mixture of well-beloved veterans and some vibrant new names pushing techno's sonic boundaries. His integrity to the dub techno sound is the cornerstone of its operation. After a short hiatus post KMAH Radio closing its doors, Spectral Voices finds a temporary home at dublab. On this session, we have a guest mix in the second hour from Enkō; a facilitator of odd ambiences and emotions, and an explorer of cerebral ambiences and physical rhythms, manipulating space and energy through texture and repetition. He makes an attempt to dilute visual stimuli and emphasise the auditory, fusing perception and reality into an imagined atmosphere.
