Happy Monday world. Todays episode is very special! "Why"? Happy you asked! Its my fathers birthday! Not only am I celebrating his birthday but, also his victory of conquering Lymphoma. "Lymphoma is cancer that begins in infection-fighting cells of the immune system, called lymphocytes. These cells are in the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, bone marrow, and other parts of the body. When you have lymphoma, lymphocytes change and grow out of control". In 2019, when my father received his diagnosis we were devastated, sad, and afraid. Nevertheless, our family remained strong as he endured treatment and finished strong in March 2020, just before the pandemic. Acknowledgements Special thanks to friends, family and colleagues of my father who have extended love and support during this trying season. Sending endless love and blessings to my step mother, Debra Byas, who stood strong from start to finish of this journey. To my father, thank you for trusting me to share your testimony on the TBJ platform. I am so proud to share with the world and pray that all who listens are blessed and inspired. Happy listening everyone! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tamika-byas/message
