SmackDown Underdelivers on the Way to WrestleMania! Andrew Zarian is back with another episode of Wrestling Observer Live Sunday edition, discussing the latest news in professional wrestling. Friday Night SmackDown this week might have been one of the more disappointing shows on the bill to WrestleMania so far. I discussed the show and the disappointing parts outside the main event, built around Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton, which has been good, but there's too much repetition throughout the rest of the show. I also previewed this week's Monday Night Raw, which takes place at Madison Square Garden, and I discussed whether they are doing too much of the same thing when it comes to the build to the main event between Roman Reigns and CM Punk. AEW Collision, Saturday night, saw a great main event between Kevin Knight and Okada, in which Knight had a great showing in the loss. Also, the "who-done-it" storyline continues as AEW was forced to pivot after Toni Storm's absence. Is this leading to a Mina Shirakawa title run in the future? Plus, Wrestlemania ticket sales, the Intercontinental title in Triple A, and American Gladiator names revealed. All this and More!

It's WrestleMania season, the build to the biggest show of the year. So why isn't WWE acting like it? Lackluster promos, subpar wrestling and mediocre comedy. Did Danhausen put a curse Smackdown? Right now, it's very uninspired. Plus, good news for Steve Maclin, TNA Sacrifice, MLP & ROH Global Wars, a new TV show and, in kayfabe, why is Jelly Roll hanging around Smackdown? Is he lonely? A WWE life coach? Hoping The Vision will notice? A fun show. Check it out.

This week, I talk about Randy Orton's heel turn over the last two weeks on SmackDown, leading up to WrestleMania. I also talk about Toni Storm being off TV indefinitely, what pivot AEW will make, and whether it will lead to Mercedes Mone coming back as a Babyface. I also elaborate on my report this week that Tama Tonga was fined for filming backstage footage at SmackDown last week. Plus, the passing of Dennis Condrey, Dynamite Ratings, and a Ronda Rousey update--all this and more!

OVW referee Dallas Edwards released a positive message from the hospital regarding his unfortunate, dangerous, and scary incident at OVW in Kentucky on Thursday. This Road to Wrestlemania so far has been like riding with The Griswolds in the family truckster: lots of bumps, starts, stops, U-turns and detours rather than a cohesive story to follow.
