Are we looking at the next major threat to Kris Statlander? The Vibe CheckThe timeline was buzzing; mostly about Darby's insane durability and the sheer panic of seeing Kenny, Swerve, and Hangman all eyeing the same prize. Play Now2025 is almost over and episode 391 of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is here to wrap it up in style. Some late-breaking news comes up first though, with upcoming Generations releases like Swerve, Animated Ratchet and Prime Smokescreen discussed first. The 2025 superlatives start up next, with topics covering what the cast thinks were the best toys of the year plus their sentimental favorites. Outstanding media and licensed products get their time before a pivot to the not so great, with both toys and everything else that was unappreciated under the microscope. The discussion whips around to positivity again with personal highlights of great acquisitions that weren't released in 2025 plus our achievements for the year. With all that wrapped, the episode concludes with a round of the recurring "Bragging Rights" segment.
I hope you all survived the holidays, and more importantly, I hope you survived the absolute sensory overload that was the last 48 hours of AEW television. The presents are unwrapped, the eggnog is gone, but the road to World's End is burning hot.Tonight, Tim and Tom are LIVE to break down a chaotic Christmas week and look ahead to the PPV this Saturday in Chicago. The Holiday HangoverIf you were scrolling through the Bluesky timeline last night like we were, you saw the collective brain-melt happening in real-time. The theme of the week? Mathematical Chaos and Unadulterated Violence.Between Dynamite on 34th Street and Christmas Collision, Tony Khan gave us the gift of stress. Here is what we are digging into tonight:The C2 Calculus: We went into Christmas Collision with a six-way tie in the Gold League (absolute madness), but the field is finally set. Takeshita vs. Okada? Fletcher vs. Moxley? We're previewing the Semifinals that have the potential to steal the show this Saturday. The Return of the Devil: MJF is back, he's “humble” (sure, Max), and he immediately got stomped out by Hangman and Swerve. The 4-Way Title picture is looking explosive.Steps & Stairs: Gabe Kidd throwing Darby Allin down the Hammerstein stairs? Poetry. Violent, painful poetry.Bandido Strikes Gold: The Dynamite Diamond Ring has a new owner! The Stakes Are High (And So Is The Fashion Risk)It's not just the AEW roster fighting for glory this weekend. Tonight, Tom and I are locking in our official World's End Predictions. And yes, there are consequences. As you'll see on the stream tonight, Tim will be wearing the Jeff Jarrett T-shirt for the duration of the show. He flew too close to the sun on the last predictions, and now has to pay the price. But tonight, the slate is clean. We are predicting the entire World's End card. The loser of this bout has to wear the Double J shirt on next week's episode. Welcome to Wrestling Tonight, with your hosts Acefield Retro and Chad. Episode 156 is centered on AEW's year-ending statement show. For the third straight year, Worlds End closes the calendar not by starting new stories, but by finishing them. Set for Saturday, December 27 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Worlds End is AEW's annual reckoning — where endurance, not momentum, decides who carries the company forward. The backbone of the event is the Continental Classic. AEW's round-robin tournament strips the product down to results and consequences. In 2025, those consequences revolve around Kazuchika Okada. As both Continental Champion and International Champion, Okada enters Worlds End as the Unified Champion. AEW has clarified the rules: only the Continental Championship is awarded through the tournament, league matches do not put titles on the line, and everything comes down to Worlds End. If Okada loses the Continental Championship, the unification ends. One night determines whether the Unified Championship continues to exist. The format is ruthless. Two semifinals and a final in one night, no recovery, no protection. Winning the Continental Classic means surviving the tournament and the pressure of immediate repetition. Worlds End also features a volatile AEW World Championship match. Samoa Joe defends against Swerve Strickland, Hangman Adam Page, and MJF in a four-way born from betrayal, unresolved claims, and opportunism. Joe holds the title through control. Swerve brings momentum. Page is chasing redemption. MJF enters by exploiting timing. In a match like this, dominance matters less than navigation. The women's division is a focal point as well. Kris Statlander defends the AEW Women's World Championship against Jamie Hayter in a clash built on identity and unfinished business, while Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron face Mercedes Moné and Athena in a defining test for the women's tag division. We also touch on WWE this week, as John Cena addressed the disappearance of Travis Scott and The Rock from WWE storylines, explaining that once those pieces were gone, the focus shifted immediately to adaptation rather than regret — a revealing look at how WWE pivots when plans change. Worlds End isn't about comfort. It's about clarity. By the final bell, champions will stand because they endured, not because they were protected. This is Episode 156 of Wrestling Tonight — where the year answers back.

What is up, friends!Tim and Tom are back, and we are still recovering from the absolute sensory overload that was AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash. Manchester brought the energy, and Tony Khan brought the chaos. This week, we are breaking down a show that felt less like a weekly episode and more like a mini-PPV. The road to Worlds End has taken a sharp left turn, and honestly? We are here for the mess.In This Episode: We crack open the “Holiday Bash” and discuss everything from the main event picture to the mathematical headache of the Continental Classic.* The Devil is in the Details: Just when we thought the Worlds End main event was locked, MJF returns to cash in his chips. It is now a Fatal 4-Way (Joe vs. Swerve vs. Hangman vs. MJF), and we discuss all the new angles this presents. * The Million Dollar Broom: The Elite defeated the Don Callis Family to win $1 Million, but the real story is the tension between Okada and Takeshita. That post-match shove was louder than a V-Trigger.* C2 Math Class: The Continental Classic is coming down to the wire. Jon Moxley barely survived Roderick Strong, and PAC tied up the Gold League by taking down Kyle Fletcher. We also discuss some minor tweaks to the C2 we would like to see. * Tag Team Stability: FTR reminded us why they are the best, retaining against the Bang Bang Gang in a solid bout.* Dear Santa: We also do our yearly wish lists for Santa and talk about what we'd like to see in AEW next year! The Verdict This was an all-gas, no-brakes episode. While the 4-Way title match is controversial, the energy heading into Worlds End is undeniable. If you love chaotic storytelling and high-stakes wrestling, this was the episode for you.Join the Conversation: Did MJF ruin the vibe, or did he save the main event? Let us know in the comments or come hang out with us on Bluesky! This is a public episode. On Episode 213 of The AEW-some Pod, the gang—Diana Prince, Johnny Taylor, and Gringo Fantastico—goes three-hours deep on AEW's UK Holiday Bash as Dynamite and Collision take over Manchester's Co-op Live. The gang breaks down The Elite's million-dollar win over the Don Callis Family (and how Okada might hate his own team more than The Bucks), Pac's hometown heater against Kyle Fletcher to blow the Gold League wide open, and Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy grinding through Continental Classic wars with Roderick Strong and Mascara Dorada. They also dig into MJF's big return to crash the Worlds End contract signing with Joe, Hangman, and Swerve, Mercedes & Athena's march toward the Women's Tag Titles, Jamie Hayter's Collision homecoming and Sisters of Sin beatdown, plus FTR and the Bang Bang Gang delivering a sneaky tag-of-the-year candidate in the main event. Wrestling Figures and Personal Updates The hosts welcomed Brian from the Legendary Wrestling Figures podcast to discuss wrestling figures and catch up on his recent activities. Brian promoted his podcast and shared details about his pet cat, Lexington, and the songs he has created for it. The conversation concluded with plans to discuss Brian's recent painting projects in a future segment. Custom Wrestling Figure Paint Projects Brian shared his recent painting projects, including customizing a Ron Simmons figure for Greg from the Man Bull Pod and transforming a Rick Martell figure for Drew's 5-year anniversary podcast episode. He detailed the specific paint and gear changes he made to each figure, emphasizing the challenges of working with different materials. Brian also discussed his excitement about the upcoming release of LJN wrestling figures, including Wave 3, which will make popular figures more accessible to fans at a lower price point. LJN Figure Release Discussion The group discussed the upcoming release of new LJN figures from Mattel, with Brian sharing his excitement about the affordable price point and potential for detailed customization. They compared the new figures to original LJN and Big Rubber Guy versions, noting differences in materials and scale. Brian expressed hope for future releases, including a Mr. T figure and a more menacing Adrian Adonis redesign. Scott suggested adding characters from 80s wrestling teams like the Young Stallions and Boris Zukov to fill collection gaps. Wrestling Action Figures Collectibles Discussion The group discussed various wrestling action figures and collectibles, including Latoonie figures, Road Warriors, and Ringside Collectibles pre-orders. Scott shared his wishlist items, including the Dudley's Ultimate 2-pack and a John Cena figure from the vault. Brian showed off some Jesse and Bundy figures he had collected, which impressed the others. They also mentioned a limited-time offer for Dory Funk Jr. figures at KWK, and briefly touched on a new Matt Cardona vs. Chris Jericho 2-pack from Jazzwares Vault. Ringside Fest Product Announcements The group discussed new product announcements from Ringside Fest, including figures from the Monday Night War series and other releases. Scott shared details about various figures, including Steve Blackman, Sid Vicious, and the New Age Outlaws. They also covered Build-A-Figure releases and confirmed that Rick Rude would be a Build-A-Figure in a new suit. The team noted that some figures, like Cody and Penta, were part of the Defining Moments series. AEW Toy Prices and Closures Jefry and Scott discussed the price point of a new Swerve action figure from AEW, priced at $60, and noted that tariffs were affecting toy prices. They also talked about Super7 closing two stores at the end of the year due to financial challenges, possibly related to tariffs. The conversation concluded with a discussion about a new Road Warrior Animal figure from Latoonie, which has a limited run of 100 units with distinctive Batman-inspired face paint. Macho Man Wrestling Figure Plans The group discussed upcoming Mattel wrestling figures, focusing on potential Macho Man Randy Savage releases. They agreed that Macho Man's return would likely be announced around Christmas, with various looks being considered including his LJN, WrestleMania III, and neon green attire. Brian expressed a preference for a WrestleMania III-inspired figure with white tights and detailed boot stars, while Scott noted that Macho Man would slot into multiple lines including Ultimate Edition. The discussion also touched on New Jack's upcoming figure and the possibility of future releases based on video game appearances. Wrestling Figures and Collecting Discussion Scott, Jefry, and Brian discussed wrestling figures and games. They fact-checked information about a wrestling figure's gear and discussed potential future releases, including celebrity figures and retro sets. They also talked about their personal collecting habits and preferences. The conversation concluded with a brief mention of a wrestling video game. Nostalgic Arcade Wrestling Games Scott and Jefry discussed their favorite arcade wrestling games, with Scott expressing a fondness for WrestleFest due to its nostalgic value and the nostalgia of playing it with friends, despite holding a grudge against it for consuming his childhood money. They compared WrestleFest to its predecessor, WWF Superstars, noting the improved graphics and sound in WrestleFest. They also discussed the release of a modern iOS remake of WrestleFest, which Scott found disappointing. Brian shared his limited experience with both games, noting that neither held the same nostalgic value for him as they did for Scott and Jefry. Arcade Game Nostalgia Discussion The group discussed arcade games from their youth, with Brian, Scott, and Jefry sharing memories of playing NES Pro Wrestling, WrestleMania, and Spy Hunter. They also talked about the potential relaunch of Shakey's restaurants with 500 new locations, which excited Scott who fondly remembered the chain's pizza and games like Ikari Warriors. The conversation concluded with a detailed discussion about the arcade game WrestleFest, including its gameplay modes, critical reception, and its popularity compared to Street Fighter II in 1991.
