The girls are back in town! That's right, FINALLY all three Tunnel Talkettes are reunited and it feels sooooo good. Let's get this car OFF the rails already! And it was a crazy week, with multiple unexpected title changes for us to work through. We get back in the swing of things with a discussion of the men's world title scene* and how Kenny and Swerve are going about their feud. From that big new matchup, we go into a matchup we've seen many, many times before, FTR and the Young Bucks. Also, Thekla's the new Women's World Champion, to everyone's surprise, and we talk through that and how the women's division is treated generally. Plus, Jon Moxley called Wheeler Yuta “naturally beautiful,” Allie has as much trouble working through how to process Tommaso Ciampa's existence as the rest of us did, and of course ham comes up at least a little. JOIN US in welcoming Allie back!!!*not featuring the men's world title holderP.S. Kyle Fletcher and Thekla won their title matches. Were both title changes a good decision for what's next? Should AEW have followed up on the anti-ICE chants on last week's show that got so much attention? Did they effectively build Grand Slam Australia? Why do the same patterns keep showing up in completely different centuries? In this episode, Pulitzer Prize–winning historian Stephen Greenblatt joins Ryan to discuss how power, fear, ego, and insecurity keep producing the same patterns. They talk about why dangerous leaders do not look dangerous at first, how great thinkers learned to survive unstable rulers, and why some of the most important ideas in history had to be hidden inside art, literature, and fiction just to stay alive. Stephen Greenblatt is Cogan University Professor of the Humanities at Harvard University. He has written extensively on English Renaissance literature and acts as general editor of The Norton Anthology of English Literature and The Norton Shakespeare. He is the author of fourteen books, including The Swerve, winner of the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award, and Will in the World, a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
Listeners, as of recording, Allie was still stranded on the East Coast, so Anne and Lea bravely carried on, serving as two legs of a stool, barely balanced on a hope and a dream. Hell yeah! Mister New Man Ciampa has a belt now thanks to the support of the fans. What fans? The ones who watched NXT, I guess. Darby's experiencing exquisite agonies at the hands of our newest NJPW pals who may or may not go here. He may be erotically satisfied but we're not entirely sure we are. Thank God Andrade, Kenny, Swerve and Hangman continue to circle each other—it's a real seething emotional stew and we're RIVETED. Plus, the Fuck ICE chants ruled, Orange Cassidy would look terrible bald, and Las Vegas, we loved your reaction to seeing the Bucks!(0:00) Chit-chat time(7:58) Ciampa(18:05) Darby, Gabe and Connors(26:55) Andrade, Kenny, Hangman and Swerve(42:52) MJF and Brody(49:27) Babes, Sisters and Megabad(58:23) Death Riders and DCF(1:06:14) Toni and OC(1:14:02) JB, Ricochet and the Bucks(1:25:07) OspreaySupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/social-suplex-podcast-network/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Blokees Wheels continue the reveal train before more listener questions roll in, which cover various topics including toys that the crew changed their mind about as time went on. Allie's still in exile, but Lea and Anne have intrepidly brought the podcast back anyway, and frankly we should all applaud their bravery in these difficult times! We brought on our friend Mike for a catchup/amnesty episode to bring us up to speed on all the AEW fun that we've missed, from Jon Moxley's Grindset Influencing to the pleasures of watching two big men cheerfully yell. That's right, we invited some mansplaining and we loved every single second of it! It was thrilling to hear about Swerve and Hangman's psychosexual escapades with Kenny and with Jetspeed, to commiserate about the dark boring slide into mediocrity that is MJF these days, and to discover that Orange Cassidy has zero sexual chemistry with Toni and/or Mina. Absolutely delightful. Enjoy, and please send all your good thoughts to Allie's car — we're hoping to all be reunited next week but we are going to need the strongest of good vibes from all our listeners! The "Psycho Killer" arrives in AEW, MJF and Brody King heat up, and is there too much Don Callis Family on our TVs? Plus, a look back at Joe vs. Darby from 2023.Listen to the episode on Spotify | Apple Podcasts | YouTubeTim and Tom are back to break down a wild episode of AEW Dynamite as we roll toward Grand Slam Australia and Revolution. It's a “Better 2026” so far, but this week left us with plenty of questions. We kick things off with a little trip down memory lane to February 1, 2023, for the brutal No Holds Barred TNT Championship match between Samoa Joe and Darby Allin. Then, we dive straight into the action from Austin, Texas. The Highlights* Ciampa is All Elite: In the night's biggest surprise, Tommaso Ciampa (introduced as “Psycho Killer”) made his debut, confronting Mark Briscoe after his title defense against El Clon. We discuss the potential for a “School Boy” babyface run vs. a quick turn to the dark side.* Andrade Shocks Swerve: The main event saw Andrade El Idolo defeat Swerve Strickland (with some low-blow assistance). We break down what this means for Kenny Omega, who now faces Andrade, and whether Swerve is heading for a revenge tour.* MJF vs. Brody King: A great promo battle where MJF dropped the “liberal Nazi” line and Brody King leaned into his monster persona. We discuss why this feud works and where it fits in the crowded world title picture.* Don Callis Overload: From opening promos to commentary to backstage segments, the Don Callis Family was everywhere. We debate if it's becoming too much and if the cracks between Okada, Fletcher, and Takeshita are finally starting to show.Join the ConversationWhat did you think of Ciampa's debut? AEW Dynamite #329 was an All Killer No Filler kind of night — one of the tightest, most consistently excellent Dynamite episodes in a long time.I break down Tommaso Ciampa's arrival and TNT title challenge, Andrade's surprising win over Swerve, and why this show felt like AEW firing on all cylinders, from match quality to pacing to momentum. I also dig into how strong and compelling the ongoing chase for MJF's world title has been. This was outstanding TV.

What does this mean for both companies moving forward?-- Roman Reigns is reportedly the “odd man out” of the WrestleMania 42 title picture, plus more fallout and context surrounding Drew McIntyre's recent title change and what it signals for WWE's long-term plans.-- TNA's debut on AMC is already drawing backlash. Is this growing pain, bad optics, or a sign of deeper issues with the presentation and expectations?-- A wild Death Riders vs. Don Callis Family brawl on Collision raises a bigger question: can a true stable-vs-stable war reignite excitement and weekly buzz in AEW?-- AJ Styles puts his career on the line against Gunther at the Royal Rumble. In this week's AEW episode of Two Dudes With Attitudes, Ryan and Denton break down the week of action in All Elite Wrestling. We cover AEW Collision from January 10, 2026 and AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage from January 14, 2026. On Collision, we break down Mark Briscoe retaining the TNT Championship over Hechicero. Is Mark Briscoe helping or hurting the TNT Title? Is it possible that this title becomes what it once was when AEW started? We also discuss Mercedes Mone's backstage promo where she says she was 'taking a break from AEW.' Is this the beginning of a character change for Mercedes in AEW? Are things going to turn around for the CEO? What is up, Sickos?AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage unfolded before our eyes, and if you were scrolling through the Bluesky timeline like we were, you saw what we saw; Violence. And lots of it.Tonight, Tim and Tom are LIVE to break down Dynamite with YOU in the chat! The Carnage ReportHere is what we are digging into tonight:The Death of a Death Rider: Darby Allin didn't just beat PAC; he survived him. Is the TNT Title next, or does he have bigger fish to fry?Triple B stays with the Devil: MJF vs. Bandido was the main event we didn't know we needed until it happened. Hangman Page. All three made it abundantly clear they are gunning for MJF. The World Title picture just became a four-way highway collision, and we are here for the mess.Thekla's Rise: The Triangle of Madness didn't just win; Thekla pinned the champion. Are we looking at the next major threat to Kris Statlander? The Vibe CheckThe timeline was buzzing; mostly about Darby's insane durability and the sheer panic of seeing Kenny, Swerve, and Hangman all eyeing the same prize. We'll be reading your best takes and reacting to the fallout live.Come hang out, join the chat, and let's wrap up Maximum Carnage together.— Tim & Tom
