Brent Holland, of Isshinryu Karate, joins me yet again to discuss some of our own misunderstandings and myths we were taught early on in our training. Some of it is physical techniques that we misunderstood, and some is the history of our martial arts. I'm certain we'll revisit this top down the road as there is sooooo much misinformation out there on this topic. So much so, I've been writing an ongoing serious on the topic!

On this episode I am joined again by my friend, and fellow instructor, Brent Holland of Isshinryu Karate. We discuss our martial arts influences, whether or not to discard of a technique if we don't understand it's use yet, and finish by telling everyone to punch each other in the face…sort of. You'll need to listen to understand that one!
