10/31/25: GHOSTING IN THE FAR FRIGHT LANE W/ ANTHONY F. SANCHEZ Throughout history, we have had a preoccupation with contacting entities behind the etheric veil. Today, we have advanced technologies that can pierce into ghostly dimensions with great accuracy. This phenomenon, known as Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) has sparked a movement of paranormal investigators who believe they can capture spirit voices using various recording devices. The electronic world seems to be manipulated by the ghosts in the machine. Through our insatiable desire to communicate with those on the other side, we can hear the vocal expressions of the dead. Our guest tonight is Software developer Anthony F. Sanchez, who has developed a state-of-the-art ghost app - The SCD Archon. https://ghosthunterapps.com/ Listen to Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis M-F from 7-10 pm, pacific time on groundzeroplus.com. A hunter dedicated to keeping the world safe from monsters has one final monster to fight. Genre: Horror Excerpt: Curses and cures. Curses and cures. I've tried everything. …flecks of blood in my eye. My joints have started to ache... My vision has started to flicker. And…now I'm finally afraid. Each Season 8 episode is a standalone story, but it's connected to or inspired by a previous story through a character, a place, an object, a concept, a continuation of events (ahem, sequel), and so on. This story isn't inspired by a particular tale. I've just written a lot of stories about creatures and monsters. Here are a couple, if you're in the mood for a particular monster. "Chainmaker" (werewolf) "The Hunter and the Crypt" (vampire) MY FIRST BOOK (yay)Ever wonder how I've gotten all these hundreds of stories written? I have a method. Myles also has a horror edition of his Letterboxd game, so it's a very fun time.

Listen to today's podcast... I love Halloween. I love getting dressed up now almost as much as I did as a kid. I have decorations everywhere. I even created a haunted bush path through our trees when my children were small. Take One Action Today To Build Your #Resiliency! Here Are My Tips For Building Resiliency And Celebrating Halloween Safety Week: With so many kids, teens, and adults joining in on the Halloween fun, it's important to remember a few simple tips to ensure that the night won't end up a fright. Talk to your young children so that they know what to expect. Being greeted by a mask creature can ruin the night if a child is not prepared. Remember Halloween activities for kids don't have to include squishy eyeballs and big monsters. Have a howling in a good time without the spin tingling chills that give children nightmares. If you are worried about ghouls and goblins include a line on your party invitation that simply says, no scary costumes please. Halloween parties and trick or treat can be a great we'll have fun. So plan ahead and happy haunting everyone. Want to find some more strategies for coping with stress? Check out my website at WorkSmartLIveSmart.com. #mentalhealth #hr

Trusting yourself around food after breast cancer treatment ends feels risky, but only when you second-guess yourself because you think there's a “right or wrong way” to eat now. Because you don't trust yourself, you create food rules and highly structured order around meals, snacks, grocery shopping and dining out in order to stop feeling like every food decision IS a matter of life or death. In this final episode of my Four-Part Ending Food Fright series, I share why that's not the way to navigate your food and offer options for “doing” your food differently. ___________________________________________________________Click here to apply to my Peaceful Plate program! We'll look at a few newspaper headlines and stories from the past where people were deemed to be scared to death. (Incidents of Death By Fright) *** The tragic death of 11-year-old Darius Flinders could quite possibly be one of the strangest deaths ever recorded. It wouldn't seem so at first, but it gets that way as the possible explanations come forth. (The Strange Death of Darius N. Flinders) *** Last month a group of disgruntled TikTok witches reportedly got together and combined their online powers to cast a negative spell on the moon. Not a sentence I thought I'd ever read aloud, but that's just the kind of year we're having, isn't it? (Disgruntled Witches Curse the Moon) *** Weirdo family member Chris Harrell feels something hop onto the end of his bed… and it wasn't his dog. (Zombie Paralysis) *** Philadelphian Dorothy Cooper Forstein appeared to be happily married, comfortably well-to-do, a loving mother, and well-liked. She was, in short, one of the last people anyone would imagine as a victim of one of the creepiest disappearances in American history. (The Disappearance of Dorothy Forstein) *** Allan Pinkerton started the nation's first P.I. firm, saved Abraham Lincoln's life, and led Union spies behind Confederate lines during the Civil War. We'll look at the formation of the Pinkerton Agency.
