In our first ever crossover episode, we speak with friend of the show Tricia Caiati, a board certified music therapist (MT-BC) who is also the Care Chronicles podcast host. Tricia gets into how she transitioned from a full time traveling music therapist into a new hybrid role. We also speak about burnout and the way transitions in your practice can foster a more aligned and values-driven work-life. Visit the Care Chronicles podcast for the second part of our conversation. On this episode of Vinyl Verdict, Bell, Jamie and Plouffe listen to Bell's next pick, Begonia's Fear. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Begonia was formerly a member of Juno Award winning band Chic Gamine, before starting a solo career in 2017. Her first album, Fear, was shortlisted for a Juno Award. Will the boys fear this album, or will they be living on the ceiling after listening to it? Come along and find out!
The Road The Stage is excited to present our interview with Begonia on this fine, sunny day. Alexa Dirks zoomed in with remarkable internet speed for a really fun conversation with Patrick Bateman and Peter Michaels. Alexa discusses THE PROCESS and her evolution in music, jumping headfirst into Chic Gamine, seasonal hot dogs, the need for speed AND MORE.
The Juno Awards celebration is coming to Winnipeg, and it’s right around the corner, so we’re feeling the excitement and looking forward to some of the magic on today’s show. We’ve also got some great new music, a great new discovery, and memories of the 2 night CD release party for Del Barber’s Prairieography!

We love starting our day off with great new music, and this week’s haul was exceptional. We threw in a few requests/dedications for our wonderful listeners, before heading off into “upcoming concert” territory. We finished with a dusty old pile of vinyl records, in honour of the upcoming screenings of Allan Zweig’s documentaries about obsessive collectors!
