Chris Thomason just graduated from the University of California Los Angeles a few years ago and is currently a case worker in social work working with migrants going through citizenship as a translator. Chris was relinquished at birth, adopted at 4 years old, relinquished again 10 months later when the adopted father died suddenly. By the time he reached 11 years old I had been moved 5 times. Never having had a father, he count 7 mothers that it took to get me to high school graduation. Chris married the daughter of the last family who raised him after high school. They were married for 25 years and have 2 great sons from that relationship. After reuniting with his birth family 20 years ago, he found out the state of California has no record of his birth. Therapy has helped him come to a realization he was no longer obligated to hold so many secrets and lies and “came out” as a gay man living my truth in 2009. Chris currently attends support meetings with CUB (Concerned United Birthparents) helping other adopted people and birthparents navigate the reunion process.Recommended resource: CUB (Concerned United Birth Parents)Music by Corey Quinn

The Spectrum Retreat is a level-based puzzle game with a deep mysterious story. Challenging and chilling. Think Portal-esque, but way more messed up. We talk to Chris Thomason, of Ripstone Games about the game.

Mark Devlin chats with Chris Thomason, aka Thommo, who runs the site http://www.conspoetry.wordpress.com. A couple of years ago, having never written poetry in his life, Thommo started channelling poems on a wide variety of topics, coinciding with his conscious awakening to many of life's truths. We talk about what that process was like, then go on to cover subjects including the illusory nature of money, spiritual paths, universal energy, Obama, the British Royal Family, and much more.(Apologies for the poor audio quality and background hum on this cast by the way, caused by a microphone lead breaking seconds before recording, (do you think it's a sign?!), but hopefully the quality of the information will outweigh the annoyance!)
