On today's episode, we'll talk about the BE DO HAVE formula for success That you want to change your health habits, stop overeating or make peace with your body, HOW you go about the process of transformation will determine your success. The process that most of us have been thought to apply when wanting to create something new in our life has been the DO HAVE BE model. In order to BE successful, for example, we need to first DO the things that HAVE the Success. When we DO enough of the “things, we hope to be rewarded by finally BEING successful. DO BE HAVE in health transformation Take the example of the goal of being happy & healthy for women in today’s society. We are taught that in order for us, women to be happy and healthy, must HAVE thinness. We must fit in the proper BMI and have the “normal thin” body. In order for us to have the thin & a proper BMI body, we must DO diets (control food and / or exercise). When we have thinness and proper BMI, we will be rewarded by being healthy and happy. Normal right? Perhaps normal to society standards but not right. The problem is that it doesn’t work... I mean 95% of diets fail and dieters regain the weight which means that 95% of the population doesn’t have access to health and happiness? DO HAVE BE keeps us stuck That model DO HAVE BE keeps us stuck in a state of depression, fear, guilt, and shame which leads us straight to a repeated cycle of failure. The results are that we are forever chasing health and happiness, but never getting “there”. You’ve been there and perhaps are still there. I know I was for nearly 25 years. Stuck in a forever state of personal failure when it came to my weight, body, and food habits. But it wasn’t my fault just like it’s not yours either. I was never taught how to actually create personal success in my life. I knew how to create success when it came to business and money but not personal behaviors. BE DO HAVE model is the solution To be successful with human personal transformation, we must instead apply the Be Do Have model. What is the difference between DO HAVE BE versus DO BE HAVE? In order to HAVE what you want, something that you currently do not have, you are going to have to do things you haven’t done before. You're going to have to do things differently. In order to DO the things you haven’t done before, you are going to have to BE someone you haven’t been before. We, as influencers, are exposing what's possible. People looking at their own lives are saying, hang on a second, you know, I'm not accomplishing everything that this guy or this gal is accomplishing, so, so how do I do that? People have to be careful that they're following and listening to people who have actually accomplished great things and whose trees do bear fruit. Stop producing all content until you can actually go prove in your own life that your content is actually worthy of being followed. Everybody wants to produce motivational quotes, everybody wants to be an inspiration, but you can't fake it. People can genuinely tell, they can sense if you're the real deal or not. Go out and kick butt in the business world or go out and kick butt in the fitness world or go out and kick butt and whatever world you're trying to put a dent in. And then come back and say, hey guys, hey guys, my name is Danny Morel. Look what I did. And being that I did it, I can show you how to do it too. Results are your judge, jury, and conviction. There are two formulas, one that unsuccessful people follow and one that successful people follow. Unsuccessful people’s formula starts with DO. They ask themselves, “What do I have to do in order to have what I want to have so that I can be happy?” DO HAVE BE. What starts to happen is anytime that you start off with DO, you're going to base what you can do or what you think you can do based off of the things that you're doing now and the things that you've done before. Half the battle is not understanding that the successful people live life through a complete perspective. They start with BE. “Who do I have to BE? Who do I envision myself BEING? What is my real ultimate purpose? What's the value that I'm going to bring to this world?” They then DO as a result of that BECOMING who they needed to BE to create different results. I for example thought that once I have all the right podcast equipment, and it’s all perfectly set up, then I can really get this podcast cracking.. And the reality is that it never really happens until we make the BEING choice.. Have fun with this, share it, practice it, mess it up, and most of all teach it, YOU'RE Already an expert at this game you’ve been doing it your whole life, you just may have had the words mixed up, it’s not have DO BE HAVE, or DO HAVE BE.. , it’s simply BE DO HAVE, to teach is to learn twice. In this podcast, I explore the concept of identity as a critical tool for a successful pivot. I use the term "superhero formula" because of the analogy of the superhero, Clark Kent aka Superman, who goes into a phone booth with one identify and emerges with a different identity. As children, we are programmed to believe the following "success formula": You DO certain things in life in order to HAVE certain things to then BE someone whom others would respect as a result - DO-HAVE-BE. The superhero formula recognizes the flawed sequence of this. Many of us never find our true purpose and therefore "doing" is not the right first step. The superhero success formula is BE-DO-HAVE in recognition that success lies with the concept of identity. The more you focus first on "being" the person you want to become, the more success you will have in your pivot!
